I wasn’t able to play my match against focushin. He has been offline for 3 days. The only time I saw him online and asked him about playing our match he said that he’ll be back later and I never saw him again.

Sal, I msg Subes but not sure when is good for him. It just seems since the last scoring period he’s on during the day. Unfortunately with work, I am not usually on till about 9PM EST or later. But I am on pretty much every night till about midnite. Let me know if there is any other way to contact him as he’s not very descriptive in his PSN messages.
On another note:
When SSF4 comes out, how will your rank the league? Do you keep the ranking and division from however it ends now?

Speaking of ranking, I was wondering if you were thinking of possibly putting together a unique league ranking system. IDK, if Excel can handle it, or if you will use some other program, but I was thinking of something like
Wn = 3 points
Forfeit Win = 1 point
Draw = 0 point
Forfeit Lose = -1 point
Lose -2
Then if you qualify after 3 scoring periods, or 6 matches, you can have your Average Point Per Matchup rating listed amongst everyone in the league.
Just thoughts…

I like your idea of the point system, especially how it distinguishes a real victory versus a forfeit victory. The only question I have about the system is the relevance to memebrs who have been in the League for several weeks. Also, the Average Points per Match can be inflated for newer members.
As to not bog down this thread with a long reply & analysis, I sent a reply via PM instead. Good info and a good discussion.
I will be posting a BLOG this week describing how we will end this 1st season of the SFCCL as we prepare for the release of SUPER SFIV while also mentioning how we may start the 2nd season of SFCCL on SUPER SFIV, but those details are still up in the air right now.
I really dont want to do this but seeing as how my partner has just given birth to our second child im going to have to retire from the league.
I would like to of stayed but as most of the players are from the US im having to stay awake untill the early hours of the morning to get my matches done which is now not an option.
I would just like to thank everyone for all the great matches i have had in the league it was really fun.
And a special thanks to you SAL for organizing it all and doing an eceptional job at running the league.

I figured the hours wouldn’t be too bad for you since you won’t be getting much sleep anyway! SAL, my Akuma lost to DJ’s Abel 0-2in a funfilled lagfest of a match. (sarcasm intended there) literally the only combos landed where Abels mashout CoD :lol: Anyways, I didn’t lose as badly as I figured so I’m happy about that. Maybe I can get my Akuma up to par before Super4 comes out.
Small update to the SFCCL website with a clue to how this season will end. Kudos to those who find the clue!

SAL, I have to drop the league for some months. I’d like to thank you for accepting non-us people join the league and also thank all the people I played against (most of the time I got owned pretty bad X_X, but gained tons of experience). I really need to focus on other stuff which means not having time to practice or stay at night for the matches. Anyway, my best wishes and we’ll probably see each other again in SSF4. SFCCL FTW!
