Yeah i been saying that if you include the cancellation in the joystic motion you can get the cancel then the ultr right after.

so can you do an FA as a reversal? and get a ‘reversal’ message? if not, that boxer clip confuses me greatly. Actually, even if you can I’m still slightly confused, lol.
I create a thread about this, but i can t find it anymore. explaining that you can FA cancel to ultra. I have done it with Abel. but nobody use this in japan Yet. I don t know if the vdeo bison player master it or just done it randomly.

amyway, all characters can input a charge super like,
**, F,F, B, F (3xp or k)
only difference with save is you are inputting save right before or in the middle of the dash.
so instead of getting dash ultra, you get save dash ultra.

I just don’t get how he woke up with focus attack as a reversal, I didn’t think that was possible.
Neither did I, yet before my very eyes I am witnessing it in reality.
Still don’t see many uses for the gimmick though, outside the fireball mid screen dash…etc
Is it possible the ultra has super armour for a frame or 2 on start up? Anyway, like UD said, if anyone can find that other thread (I just tried) move the discussion there, or start a new one maybe.
OMG im such a NUB…I cant believe I didnt figure this out before. FC into ULTRA is EXACTLY like K groove JD into charge super.
Basically you are anticipating the Focus. In cvs2…if a charge char new he could get a guaranteed Jd…he would tap F, then as he is coming back (that would be the JD) then you simply had to go F again and hit P/K and super would come out.
With FC into Ultra it is the same thing. U anticipate the hit coming…after charging, you tap forward…pull Back…hit FC to absorb attack and then simply do Forward +PPP. BAM Ultra in their face just like a 3s parry =P
Man, I came up with this techinque for cvs2 up for the nor cali scene back even before RC’s were discovered. (yes i know others found it too, but i found it for my scene) So im actually a little pissed that I didnt think of trying this a lot earlier.
Man Charge characters will be powerful. So now Rog (being already dominator and prob best char in game) is even better. This will also make chun li pretty scary

Well, OK guys, I’m a noob at this FA stuff and I can’t seem to find a thread created specifically for it. So I got two questions:
1-Do you need to use FA to Dash Cancel? In other words, how do you dash cancel?
2-How much ex bar does it consume to dash cancel?? Seemed like two to me?

At 1:38 he’s doing something different, you can dash then ultra w/ the b,f,b,f supers. It’s in the sf4 mook.

Now you act like you just discover it…It s the first video including the SA cancel to ultra, but I already saw hit with Abel.

I tried someway to do it but was never able to do it on purpose. plus The only time I saw it it was after someone Hit the SA , don t think it s possible to do it without being it.
I had that the few time I saw hit it was always the first frame Of SA that were cancel. I never saw someone keep the SA and as soon as the opponment hit him release the ultra.
please let me know if you really found the way to do it.
I had that it s not only charge character that can do it so i don t think It will completly change the tiers list
