PS: My Japanese kinda sucks, I can transcribe most of it, but the Kanji are pain in the ass.
If anyone finds any mistakes on players traduction, please let me know.
I’m 29, and played SFI back in 1989 before Street Fighter II ever came out. No, I’m not part of the new breed. I haven’t played Street Fighter IV because it’s not at my location. I would prefer to be playing rather than watching, but that’s about all I can do at this point. However, my point was that Street Fighter IV is much more of a spectator game than CVS2, 3s, and Alpha 3. I love all of the aforementioned game, but SFIV matches look a lot more interesting from a spectator’s point of view.
I have both played and watched all the SF games, and for me this one plays very well. However, the only thing good about watching it (for me) is learning new stuff, unlike SFA3 and ST, where I enjoyed watching matches even to this day when I have seen everything those games have to offer. Matches I know well, like Blanka vs Ryu I don’t enjoy watching at all in SFIV.
It was good for VF, rounds last about 15 seconds in that game. Actually for most 3d fighters it is good, but I agree for 2d games or games with lower damage it sucks.
that was a really good abel too. I remember watching the vids and thinking how patient he was. It’s cool to see, since I kinda felt abel was dropping tier wise
