I dont think any player in the us has played against a good fuerte yet.
Im gonna start playing as Fuerte, hopefully in the next month I will master the loop!

Neo Empire held a mini-tournament at last Sunday’s Rebirthtournament.
Players needed 10 wins to qualify for the tournament, and amazingly we had 8 different characters make up the top 8.
Here’s some of the footage, including Desk and Zak who both represented Europe at Eveo this year after qualifying from the Battle of Destiny tournament.

It should be noted that in the UK, we do not have an Arcade with SF IV. Players have learnt to play at Expo’s and Neo Empire events, which makes the skill level on show at this tournament pretty impressive.

It was a pretty good event! IIRC Chunki and Rakurai also got 10 wins? I got 7 wins and got taken off by Blanka, for a while it looked like I’d scrape into the finals as 8th longest win streak. I guess it worked out better as there was all different characters, and Mullah has a better Blanka than me right now.
Current best UK players are Zak, Desk and Mullah imo.
The Sagat, Bison and Abel players clearly stood out above the others.
The Guile was just… wow. 
false, there was 1 member, namely zak. That’s 1 out of 8.
I got 10 wins early in the day but as the competition wasn’t as ‘fierce’ then, they didn’t count. So i had to get another 10 when the line was bigger. Everyone in the top 8 earned their place.
These vids are amazing. That’s how SF4 is meant to be played, and I’m happy the UK scene is showing we can get creative and hold our own too.

The next tournament will be Super Versus Battle in early-ish 2009.
It’s going to be one hell of a tournament, as we are going to pull out even more stops than at last year’s Battle of Destiny event where we had Justin Wong attend, the debut of SF IV, HD Remix work in progress builds and giving away tickets to Evo.
So keep an eye out on Neo Empire, and that goes for all the American and non-European players too. If you’ve ever fancied coming to London, SVB 2009 might be the perfect excuse you’ve been looking for…
Did Rakurai and Chunkis get 10 wins or not, and aren’t Sho Dragon and shin Dragon Neo Empire staff? I’m only going by what the forums say, it says on there that Shin, Sho, Zak and you are NE staff.
I was just pointing out that it’s not really fair to say we’ve only played the game at three events, cos there have been private Neo Empire sessions and tournaments like one the night before, Chunkis told me him and Zak got bare games in the night before. Clearly the best players won and got the finals, that’s how a tournament works!

Hopefully, I’ll be uploading all sorts of japanese casuals and ranbats, as well as american ones.
Several players got 10 wins, but only 8 got the required amount of wins when qualification began. I deliberately waited for the place to get busier because at the beginning of the day, everyone could get 10 wins whereas later in the day the competition was much fiercer and players really had to work hard to qualify.
In fact the last place was quite funny because it was between you and Sho Dragon and everytime Sho won a game he leaned back to see how many wins you were on. At one point it looked like he was trying to race you to get the 10 wins, but I think Dawgtanian knocked you off and then he could breath a bit easier!
