Good news: I landed Viper’s ultra :woot: My next goal is to win a game with her.
CF usually is crazy on Fridays! I was there today to play SF4 and surprisingly it wasn’t that packed! Everyone was able to play and no one seemed to care that it costed $1 per play. I was a huge skeptic of SF4 because of the way it looked but trust me guys who haven’t played it, don’t judge a book by its cover. The fun factor is REALLY high especially with the new Ultras. When someone does an Ultra the crowd goes wild cuz they’re so spectacular. Before I played the game I thought they were too long and overly cinematic but when you’re in the hot seat, you don’t even notice it and it’s thrilling when you’re the one winning with one. I must say Zangief is a BEAST!!! Straight ST mode with grabs that seem to grab from almost half screen sometimes lol. I played Ken, Vega(claw), and E.Honda. At CF they have a 5 win limit at the moment so that everyone has a chance to play. So if you’re winning after 5 victories you have to lose at the last round and give up the seat. No one seemed to mind though. Street Fighter 4 really has brought back a thrilling fun factor that 3s doesn’t because 3s is so technical and SF4 is just so raw. I saw a lot of players that were really good in 3s getting beat bad in SF4 because of the old mechanics. I was there with my gaming club from New York City College of Technology a.k.a City Tech and we all put up some nice streaks! Props to Henry a.k.a the BEAST GIEF a.k.a BALLS ON CHIN ALL DAY ahahahah!! On another note: for those of us who were at CF early today… Did you guys see that 7 year old who was CRAAAAZZZZZYYYY good at Dance Dance? he had like a 1000+ combo and for a good 15-30 minutes actually had a bigger crowd than SF4!!! That lil kid is a PHENOM!!!

Blanka is mad today!!! Scrubbing my way to victory with his Ultra. I also lost a bunch of times trying to learn things, or just otherwise getting raped. Ultimately, I give this game a thumbs up!

I was there around 2:30-ish playing blue dictator for a 4 win streak. Fun. Went again around 9 and played with boxer. More fun, until I got my ass whipped. =P
And for the record, PROPS TO HENRY FOR THE CABINETS. Pretty sweet job, man and cool that you used Sanwa stuff for the controls.
My only gripe is that I’m worried my fat 265lb ass will break one of those tiny ass stools one of these days while I’m there playing in front of everyone.
