GG’s to everybody I played. I was the kid with the black DC shirt. When I was there the only people who got streaks were people who knew their ST game. If you want to practice for SF4, just hit up the ST cab near the 3S machine. And seriously, you would think 1$ per game would scare away the scrubs at least a bit. Not a chance. Sadly I could beat like 80% of the people there (except of course, some good ST players and Jwong).
And seriously, CF = Ryu, Ken, Sagat. ALL DAY. I understand you don’t want to lose a dollar, but most people lost a dollar anyway when they played their scrubby Ken or Ryu. >_>
I wish people would risk a dollar and try out some of the new characters 
Counting loketests, I’ve easily spent over 50,000 yen ($500 US dollars) learning Viper.
And yeah, we pay pretty much 1 US dollar per game out here in Japan.
Thats what I do at least. I’m a big Ryu guy in any SF game, just not for his simplicity. I got to 6 wins pretty easily when I played him. But then I said forget it and tried C. Viper, Rufus, Guile (I never really used him in any SF game), and while I lost once I got to the 2nd or 3rd fight with them, it was more exciting and challenging than playing with Ryu.
Next time I go I’m only playing Rufus and C. Viper.
When I come tomorrow, It’s C. Viper and Abel for me. :woot:

Saw the game today for the first time live. It looks sexy in 720p. No questioning that. Boxer looks like pure rape. He’s not ST boxer by any means at all; I’d put him on par with CvS1 Boxer, but goddamn are his pokes safe. His CH headbutt seems like it can juggle into Ultra or EX high-rush. I’m definitely gonna give him a try. There was one Dictator player, but nothing special. Kept doing random slides. Packed as all hell and there is a long ass line to play. 20 people ahead of me today. I hope I can play on Saturday.

Yeah, I know. I’ve been at CF for most of the week 1 releases. I know how it is for the most part. CvS2 was the exact same way. I know I will get in a game or two on Saturday. I showed up pretty late today and didn’t want to stick around for long.
Hopefully we’ll meet up and play sometime DS. I plan on going early Sunday and early Monday though, get to play much more. Earlier today in fact I played twice in like a 3 minute span.
CF is already hectic on normal Fridays, but this Friday is just going to be ridiculous…
