SF4 @ Chinatown Fair

He may be playable, but no one knows the codes except for Ono. Who knows what other little jems could be hidden via code.

“c5hsp3gn”

Change the numbers perhaps?

I hope that Justin plays you every time you put your money in.

<3

Unlock codes that are operator-input have never been simple or even decipherable. lol It’ll be some random combination of characters that are difficult to brute force thanks to the way they need to be input.

Henry’s the asian dude fixing the machines in those pics right??? I thought it was the old dude behind the booth who’d exchange the dollars for coins whenever the coin machines were out of service…

Haven’t been to CTF in ages, even the lowest of the low are too much for a pad-playing scrub like me, and I bet that the lines are gonna friggin’ stretch to the end of the arcade.

Since I’m a relative CTF newbie (I started going around the summer of 2001), for all of you old-schoo l CTF’ers, was it always packed to the brim whenever a new SF came out? I think that on that summer CVS2 made its debut at CTF, don’t know for sure but I recall it being uncomfortably packed.

It’d too bad that the long-gone NYC arcades never lived to see this day, only a few barely made it to see the first SF3…:frowning:

i remember an arcade called broadway city had cvs2 for 1.25. and trust me it was far from brand new. taht was like in 2004. marvel 2 was a $1

if you ask me im glad its a buck. it will wash out the broke scrubs a.k.a. casual players

Broadway City…glad that’s gone. Barcode too. “Lazer Park”= 2nd best arcade in Manhattan, which isn’t saying much. That’s gone as well.

Since when is that any different?

The loli pedo guy that looked like ghengis khan from Bill & Ted? Heard he got canned a while ago, but my sources might be incorrect.

people still playing at port authority?

As much as I love Chinatown Fair, nothing, and I mean nothing beat the original Broadway Arcade between 50th and 51st (closed January '97). I remember when I was last there before they shut down. Virtua Fighter 3 was the new game but all the real fighting was happening on the back Alpha 2 machines. I used to make some serious money betting on tourists in ST back in the day.

I can confirm that he’s still there.

Edit: Unless there’s some other guy >_>

He’s not there anymore, he got fired a while ago for being the damn pedophile that he is.

Nah. It’s probably him, there’s no real mistaking him once you see him once, lol.

Edit: Ah, My source was right. ^^

won’t be .75 cents ever…

yeah yeah, we get the picture already

:looney:

$13,500 investment so far for CTF, WOW…

I think this is the first time I’ve lived in an area where a new SF game comes out, and we don’t have access to it. Yikes.

So true.

Guess it’s time to get out my cave :wgrin:

^ Oh shit :amazed:

Move over old man…Im leavin harlem again for this…

how do i get there from the fung wah bus stop?
