How often will you be in a “training room point blank range” to be sure cl.HP wont suddenly become far.HP ?
The later combo is safer and universal. The first combo is char specific and range specific.
I’ve got an interesting new combo thanks to EX Shaku:
cs.HP xx EX Shaku > LP.Shaku
This does 281 Damage and 600 Stun. It does however have some prerequisites:
Corner specific and has to be done deep in the corner.
Character specific: works on C.Viper, Deejay, Abel, Dhalsim, Balrog, T.Hawk, Hugo, Cammy, Elena, Seth, Fei Long. (There may be more, I will test later)
Need one bar.
Given these prerequisites, for 3 bars it is possible to do fj.HK > cs.HP xx HP.Ball FADC cs.HP xx EX.Shaku > LP.Shaku.
The stun and damage figures are…well…erm…check the video to find out!
The great thing about it is the next combo/overhead/mixup is guaranteed stun. Oki is great off LP.Shaku as well.
I was fucking around with ex shakudu in the corner.
I mighta got it wrong, but after the 2nd shakudu, doesn’t the juggle end?

Anyone using ex shaku instead if the traditional bnb? After a sweep knockdown, two mixups with ex shaku leads to stun on most characters. Nice mixups after ex shaku too whether they quick rise or not. Also crossover palm into cs.fiercexx ex shaku can be followed up with dp midscreen. Nice way to tack on some stun too.
