Of course you’re going to get reversal SRKed in c.MK xx FB. Name me a block string Akuma has that is reversal safe and doesn’t involve just chained c.LPs and c.LKs. I’ll give you a figurative cookie if you do.
c.MK xx FB is all about spacing. c.MK is one of Akuma’s most important footsie tools, if they start reversaling you, just block after the c.MK and punish. Also, a standalone c.MK xx FB gets reversaled much less than a block string like c.LP x2, c.MK xx FB would.
lol… … the more straight to the point is… YES… weest is obviously correct on the definition which is why it makes asking if something is hit confirming kinda silly…lol. Some ppl can hit-confirm better than others… its more based off YOUR abilities rather than the move choices. The more hits before a cancle the easier it is to hit-confirm. So 2 hits isn’t bad at all.
Ok yeh makes sense, wouldn’t it be a better option to cr lp, cr lp as the st hp gives u more frames to decide whether to bnb or not? Or is it not that good because you cr lp has more range than st hp (close) or something?
you want to hitconfirm with something thats uninterruptable.
if you go for hitconfirm with cr.lp cl.hp and they are blocking you might catch a SRK.
if you hitconfirm with cr.lp and cr.lk u can see they are block and just stop or backdash or jump back or teleport.
go with some variation of cr.lp and cr.lk. then u can link to cr.mp and cancel to bnb

Does more damage than the BnB finished off with the Shaku for the same amount of EX bars, and isn’t dependent on them standing on hit either. Which is nice. And you can always stick in another cr.LP or cr.LK to make it easier to hit confirm it also.
Not really. The ranges are all guaranteed. The FADC is easier than the SRK > Shaku. Just the timing of the cr.MP out of the HK is possible to drop online due to lag, but it’s not exactly rocket science.
I can’t agree with you there. c.mp -> FB -> FADC and then maintaining a combo is a lot tougher than just popping them up in the air and doing a simple motion.
Within the last days I played around with the far HK after doing a FADC. So for example:
far HK, cr.MP, Hado, FADC, far HK, cr.LK, BnB
For me its particularly difficult to connect the far HK after the FADC. In training mode 95% of my attempts are blocked. Can someone please give me a tip to improve the consistency? Does plinking (?) somehow help here at all?
has anyone else had problems combo’ing from the c.LP -> QCB+LK for the bnb? i can’t seem to get it to combo. I’ve gone to training and checked the input and its all correct so im guessing its likely a timing issue. Anyone have any tips?
Usually somethin like cr.LP, cr.LP, cr.MP x QCB+LK works better for me than comboing from LP. I think LP has less cancelable frames. I hope this helps.
