To make this thread more interesting again to others: shared out on the hub a bunch more footage - Skimitar and I both have his previously unreleased MWC4 footage (3s/cvs2/mvc2) shared out, the Blue_J Google footage session 1 is on the hub and fixed up, and I got a ton of previously unreleased Cali footage from Eidrian. :tup:

Should work fine - are you behind a firewall? Are you in active or passive mode? What client and what client version are you using?
Ok, I have been running XP firewall forever and it worked fine, but I disable the firewall, and it works great now, I didn’t even think of taking it off because it ran well in the past.

You don’t have to take it off, just make an exception for the DC program you are using and it should work fine also but either way hf.
You must really hate me by now preppy, but for some odd reason I am still banned from the hub. I did the release/renew for my IP and i tried logging back into the hub and I got this message:

Sorry to keep bugging you but I really want to get into the hub and for some reason the hub hates me.
If you don’t list your username and IP, I cannot possibly unban you. 
I talked to you earlier on aim with the name feartetsuo. My nick I have been using is feartetsuo, or combomasher. My IP is 65.31.103.193
You were banned as combomasher. Ban lifted.
Reminder: since I don’t feel like needing to police this by hand, the hub bot will autokick you for rules violations, autoban you if you’re sharing warez, and autobot you if you transform into a car or dinosaur. So keep things clean and there won’t be any problems.
Ugh, I give up on trying to connect to GFB. Even after you “lifted” the ban it still kicks me out saying my ass is banned. Whatever.

There’s only one hub - goforbroke2.no-ip.com , so I don’t understand the question.
Thought: what about abandoning the GFB/GFB2 hub and just using the SSMB hub? That’s being run by someone who doesn’t need the set of rules I have to impose (and for those who aren’t aware, I a: work at Microsoft and b: am involved in ongoing MS legal proceedings, so I’ve got to be cleaner than clean, even though I’m against piracy anyways), so that might be more viable for some people who can’t hack the (fairly simple) rules of this (GFB) hub.

^-- To be clear, among the rest of my work, I own file associations for the player. That is an area of MUCH contention, as I’m sure everybody is aware. So I’m always on my tip-toes, but since people like to sue… :rolleyes:, yeah. Ongoing legal stuff. Can’t do anything about it other than shrug and live life normally. Wouldn’t want to, really.

but to further his question he wanted to know if the “+news” script was in affect or something like it. to access news from HUB.
if not Preppy let me know if u need such a script though i dpn’t have any saved from “backthen” i could write a new one but it may take some time.
