Idk what “zoom in” means, but it doesn’t sound like they took it out. I’m liking everything else besides the U1 change, but it’s still a whiff/full screen punisher.
I really think they mean it doesn’t stretch when they say it doesn’t zoom in. As in they took it out.
If they get caught in the U1 cinematic can Seth get hit out of it? If it just no longer has invincibility on startup that’s fine. But if you get hit out of it after you hit them, it’s totally useless.
I don’t give a shit about stun value. I’d rather have had 850 health and 750 stun.
I hope the legs damage buff is significant, like 20-30 damage.

I wish his health and stun meter were switched, and what in the world is getting hit in the start up on U1 by projectiles? Is it on start up (the logical thought, but knowing Capcom they do the unthinkable)?
Atleast he is still usable, but if he has the dive kick vanilla status ofcourse :P. Overhead, fast, sick set ups / frame traps / tick throws and much more :D.
I don’t see any buffs, I only see backtracking. The super should of had pursuit property from its inception. Spin kicks damage should not of been lowered in SSF4 and the health change is negligible.
They took away like all seths good tools, and gave us what? 50 more health? Thats nothing, we wont even notice that shit, like how is this SSF4 AE seth better than balrog, balrog is a mutch better character and have 1050 hp, and he gets no nerfs.

Anyways, thinking about the gief match-up now, and I feel lie we’re so fucked. I mean, no j.HP and he has that long-ass recovery on both Booms and Teleports… getting slightly worried.
I think 800 health and 900 stun is pretty good. he doesn’t have the lowest stun in the game now. Akuma does now. and also I think that his super doing all hits on anti air and being strike invincible on startup is good.
Exactly my feelings Zeni. I knew this shit would happen. 900-1000 Health should have been the buff for the huge loss of j.hp. Not only that but who knows whats gonna happen with this TP/Divekick. Lets hope they left some stuff out, and the U1 thing makes U1 useless. The point was it was to beat out all projectiles. I don’t understand the thought process in making his U1 bounce off of a EX hadoken and he eats damage.
I’m hoping that Hyakuretsukyaku does 160 damage and Super combos after Hyakuretsukyaku. The pursuit property added to the super might allow full combos after SRK and J.mp.
Losing jump fierce is bullshit though if he doesn’t get faster walk speed and/or less recovery on sonicbooms and standing fierce.
Also, why doesn’t EX legs have strike invincibility through the active frames? Trading with that move is so dumb.
Personally, I’d love more SPD range. Seth’s the same size as Abel and has (had?) stretchy arms, he should have at least 1.3 throw range on a light SPD IMO.
