People still play Marvel vs Capcom 3 cause guess what? It says Capcom in it, it says Marvel in it, and it has Dante/Ryu/Zero/etc in it.

Sentinel Patch was not that big a deal and people adjusted well, and the same will happen here
Even with the few buffs Cerebella is getting, she is still no Condor. Plus, Punishing upback is a good thing in a reset heavy game.
Hell UMVC3 nerfed Sent harder than MVC3 Patch ever did.

I do. And i for one think a patch nerfing and buffing characters before evo is not professional, if anything they shouldnt play the patch version at evo.
He does not hit as hard in UMVC3 due to HSF not being so hyper anymore and Wesker was nerfed solely due to less hitstun on gun, no matter what idiots think.

Well people generally DONT like to tolerate it from capcom, because the competition is higher and more good players play capcom games.
In skullgirls since its a indie game tons of people who can’t deal with something QQ enough about it to get patched its ok for people because a majority is low skill people.

Not gonna lie, this is pretty lame. All the pre release interviews of “I won’t be patching the game right a way in such a way that you have to relearn everything” but I’m pretty sure my double combos will get destroyed by such a patch. The bigger nerfs I’m wondering about is on the lk/mk hornet bombers and if I’ll still be able to combo air to air j.hp. Double as an assist should still be fine, just hoping it doesn’t wreck my solo Double.
Not gamebreaking nerfs, but after having gotten used to it, it just feels lame.
Wesker was nerfed not buffed.
Other than losing untechable knockdown, LK/MK Hornet Bomber are unchanged.
Well, I’m Aabra’s friend, and this is just my opinion on the game overall:
I really enjoy the way the game feels right now and I seriously think is waaaaay too early for a balancing patch, solid strategies are just being developed and are getting patched already and the saddest thing is that those that are getting patched are the ones that are the most common and people are having a hard time figuring out how to fight against that but… have you seen a parasoul/cerebella using ceracopter as an assist? the lockdown and the mixups are insane on that team, yet as it is not common and is not as easy to use as peacock double I don’t see anyone complaining about it and it is not getting patch (which is excellent for me)
Actually what I think about the game is that every character is “broken” meaning that the game is actually balance since they are all good, and I say “broken” because that is what people says I seriously don’t think everyone should start calling things broken just for not knowing how to fight against it, also I think the patch pre evo is not cool at all
One last thing, for all those saying that there is no point doing this posts now because it has been said already, well guess what, that is the whole point on the post, if a lot of these changes were made because the bosses read srk forums, well we want to share our opinion about this as well to see if it makes any difference before the patch actually happens, I know I’m going to be playing the game after patch anyway because I really enjoy the game, but still think that it is way too early to do a balancing patch
Yes it does. It’s unblockable on the way up and blockable on the way down. Which means if you was always using it to predict a jump out then it’s unblockable and will catch the jump.
It makes perfect sense, the calibur of strong players is huge in capcom because its a popular game. So if they were told about some bs patch coming in and ruining the majorities favorite characters they wouldn’t stand for that crap.
Skullgirls isn’t as popular and the level of play in the majority is low meaning they QQ about things because they don’t know how to block or deal with something. Which outweighs the good players because they are the minority in skullgirls.
