i’m fully caught up and i think this crossover is definitely dope. i just started reading comics but i picked up Wizard from time to time so i kind of understand what was going on. The skrull reveals seriously surprised me and it gave me goosebumps especially when one in particular was revealed.

[]Nick fury and his non-howling commandos are taking a shoot-first ask no-questions policy, so any heroes trying to help/talk to thme will get a bullet to the brain. Nice.

[details=Spoiler] On the scriptures being misinterpreted, i could see that actually happenning. It was revealed that Veranke and a few higher up in position of the invasion have specifically ordered Teddy’s death, without informing the soldiers of his royal heritage, for fear that it could confuse and divide the loyalties of their soldiers. So that is something that could turn the tide in this Invasion.
Second thing, the Ms. Marvel skrull was killed off earlier already.[/details]
We have Norman Osborn calming Captain Marvel down to the point where Marvel breaks down and leave Thunderbolt Mountain for space to fight the Skrulls AGAIN.
Maria Hill apparently is a Life Model Decoy and the real Hill snipes Skrull Jarvis and self Destructs the Hellicarrier
Agent Brand kills the skrulls on the ship she sneaks on and free’s Reed Richards who chokes her and then stops when he realizes she isn’t a Skrull. He manages to create a device that reveals who’s a skrull. Meanwhile, Captain Marvel is tearing through the whole Skrull armada ships in a fit of rage. Agent Brand then decides to swing through the Savage Land to pick up the Avengers.
We see some of the Initiative heroes and some of the Young Avengers like Hawkeye, Vision, Patriot and Stature chillin in Nick Fury’s hideout while he’s trying to figure out how to get in communication with everyone
The Avengers and the skrull imposters start to do battle when Tony sees Reed in the air pointing a device that shoots the ground. All of sudden surprise, surprise it reveals everyone from the ship to be skrulls which pisses Clint off to the point where he shoots Skrull Mockingbird and everyone else. Plus we find out out that Echo is alive and well after he tussle with the skrull queen who may be still on the Savage Land. At any rate, end of the issue basically has Barton extremely pissed to the point where he says, “This Doesn’t End Till Every Last One Of Them Dies”
On a side note, the Secret Invasion:Inhumans story finally shows where Blackbolt is. Apparently the skrulls have been keeping him alive and experimenting on him to use his powerful voice to use as a weapon on this big ship. [/details]

It does seem like a bunch of famous people from Hollywood and the Presedential election have been swapped out for Skrulls lol! The funny one is Stephen Colbert since he’s running for President in the Marvel Universe ha ha! But yeah, they got Oprah, Tom Cruise, Obama, McCain and freaking Simon Cowell man TOO GOOD!
