well with those teaser images we now know for certain that Hawkeye, Wolverine, and Hercules are out of the picture.
Definitely can’t wait to see the first issue of Secret Invasion. Going by the previews i’m guessing were gonna see who was replaced during the New Avengers trip to the Savage Land.

So it seems that Marvel is a Skrull. Beginning of the issue shows some astronauts unearthing Marvel’s casket and seeing his dead body with the Nega Bands. Meanwhile a skrull that S.H.I.E.L.D. captured from the previous issue is telling Marvel that he is a skrull but doesn’t have any memory of being one. Even though he tells the Skrull he has the cancer, the skrull asks him why hasn’t he been ill if he does have it? Fast forward near the end of the issue and Stark ask Ms. Marvel to take the Nega bands from the dead Marvel and hit them against the other Captain Marvel’s bands. She does it and he ends up in the Negative Zone again.

aww man read some spoiler from the penny-arcade forums about Secret Invasion #1 and damn some of the reveals is pretty shocking. Some person from Marvel threw some spoilers up on his livejournal account and within an hour it was deleted.
But the spoilers managed to get spread out through every comic forum.

Some Skrulls posing as…I can’t remember who…bust out the villains in the Raft, including Dr. Doom (is he THE Doom or a Skrull?)
Sue Richards, also a Skrull, sends the Baxter building into the negative zone.
