i was very poor at POW, (end of first level:sweat: )
Same Here
original cartoon was allright but it was banned for profanity. but yeahâĶAWSOME GAME ! I beat C&D with one credit when I was like 10âĶRAPE RAPE !!:nunchuck:
I can probly do it againâĶmight post a video or something.
anyheyâĶcan someone post some âmovesâ for sengoku 3 ? I seen randomass asians do some cool shit at the arcades but I never got around playing that games even though I have it on my xbox
also âviolent stormâ by konami is pretty goodâĶplays on MAME emulator. 3 player, fast paced, decent graphic, etc
Violence Storm is the sequel to Vendetta, right? (and 3rd in the trilogy with Crime Fighters or summat). I played that whilst very drunk with my friend and we both found it hilariously amusing (Boris is such a ridiculous character design), although not as funny as KnuckleBash, which is comedy gold.
But yeah Sengoku 3 has a very intuitive system. You have an armed strike button and an unarmed strike button. You have the equivalent of jab/short, forward/strong and fierce/roundhouse for unarmed strikes, and if you just mash on the unarmed strike button they will come out in this sequence:
Jab, jab, jab, strong, fierce
Armed strikes come out as slash 1, slash 2, slash 3, slash 4 (there is a certain timing required to get slash 3 to come out but itâs quite simple, you just delay it a little.
Now, if you mix up the armed strikes and unarmed strikes you can get longer sequences. The longest is jab, jab, jab, slash 1, strong, slash 2, slash 3, fierce/roundhouse, slash 4. You can, of course, find many variations, for example cancelling into armed strikes after only one jab if youâre short of time, or skipping one slash in favour of an unarmed strike etc etc.
You also have specials, which are performed by pressing down twice and then either your armed strike button or unarmed strike button (different special for each). Escape moves arent all that useful, because the specials usually give you invulnerability without losing life, but if you are being comboed and have no special bar press both attack buttons and jump to escape move. Youâve got dashing moves too, and early in its animation dash actually hits (and juggles), which is INCREDIBLY useful believe me.
Oh, and also thereâs a smart bomb style full screen attack you get by pressing down, up and both attack buttons. It uses a whole bar of meter and I only use it sparingly now and then.
Hope this helps. Sengoku 3 rocks so hard it hurts.

That game looks really badass, but itâs all in japanese, I tried using Alta Vista, but it donât work on it? What am I supposed to do to try this game out? Any help would be greatly appreciated :lovin:.
Ah, good old Cadillacs and Dinosaurs! Mustaphaâs drop kick was top tier in this one!
anybody wanna play any sidescrolls online ?? PM me
Cadillacs & Dinosaurs was originally a comic (with a different name too as you can see), and aimed at adults. Not porn, that is, but it has violence, swearing etc in it, and from the parts Iâve read itâs pretty damn good, especially if you like old skool âpulpâ style adventureâĶ The art is totally brilliant by any standard.
The cartoon Iâve never seen, but Iâd guess it was toned down from the comic as usualâĶ The game is indeed made from the cartoon and not the original comic.
HMMMMâĶ The Wikipedia page for the game says: âThere was a TV series made little after the game, though it wasnât a major success, and the Capcom game didnât have any relation with it as it was based entirely on the comic series.â
As I said, I havenât seen the cartoon, but it appears the game isnât based on it either, at least if the author of the above is correctâĶ Which is a very strange coincindence. But I guess people just liked their dinosaurs and classic cars at that timeâĶ or something.
Also, Mustapha and Mess were very minor characters in the comic, I donât know why they would be playable if it was really based on that.
Was there ever a english patched version of rushing beat 3 and SOR3 where all the JPN was translated to english.
As I seen screen shots of both games that never made it to english and stuff like that

Wow the AvP videos bring back so many memoriesâĶ except I sucked at that game
Itâs a great game.
I love the GBA remake.
Whatâs new on the gba version.
This is a cool topic guys, keep em coming. Anyways the brawlers that I liked best were these.
1-TMNT2-For NES.
2-Double Dragon 1,2, and GBA-NES and GBA.
3-Final Fight-Super NES
4-River City Ransom-NES and GBA.
Out of all these Iâd say River City is easily my favorite. Technos Japan is one that started the whole side scrolling beat em up genre. First it was Renegade, then it was Double Dragon. I played so much River City on 2 player with my best friend back in the day, I loved that game so much. The remake for GBA is also worth picking up, all the customization makes it so worth picking up. Also have you guys heard about the project for River City Ransom called Kunio Online? Itâs being done by this korean company Windysoft, they have the trailer on youtube for it. If this game is really gonna be online then I think Iâll literally shit myself. Thatâd be my new crack right there. Hereâs the link for that trailer.

Also I did play Golden Axe, and the original Streets of Rage. I need to play games like Guardian Heroes, TMNT3 and 4, Hyper Stone Heist, and other awesome games in this cool genre. Also there was this one game that I guess Technos Japan made back in the day, it was on arcade but then came to SNES. The SNES version I guess wasnât too bad, I never played the game and I canât remember the name of it anymore. Anyone know what the game was? I just looked it up on wikipedia, it was a game called Combatribes. Has anyone played this game? I heard it was a pretty good game. Anyways, Iâll be back to this thread. Keep it up guys!
This might seem like a pointless question, but do you guys consider modern 3rd person action games such as Ninja Gaiden, God of War, and Devil May Cry to be the evolution of older beat 'em up games, or is it a completely different genre?
