Haha people arent not contagious until symptoms huh, so are all these medical experts fucking up? They knew this dude was carrying the T virus and they still fuck up? Common.
This is what happens when you lie in order to avoid panic. And ebola survivors are still contagious up to 90 days after being cleared for release, thanks to ebola remaining in their semen and vaginal secretions.
I am talking about reversibility regarding the suspension of rights (once they are taken away, they are never restored since it has an empowering effect on the govt). It is funny you mention Germany and then scoff at my warning as Orwellian fiction, when current day Germant has actually made it illegal to deny the Holocaust, effectively legislating thought crimes. This is certainly not what I had in mind when I asked for an example of reversibility.
Well the decision to bring the Ebola patients to the US resulted in exactly zero viral transmissions, rather it provided much needed information on the disease and treatment and the aquiring of life-saving antibodies (none of which was possible over in Africa). The transmissions occurred from refugees traveling on their own.
I dont know, why nobody on his plane to the US come down with Ebola?
Pretty sure the patient zero from Liberia wouldn’t have come here if he didn’t know about us returning our infected people for treatment. He sees this and says, “I have a better chance there.” And the ball starts rolling. If we had treated our people there, we probably wouldn’t be in this mess. These people see our infected people returning here, and eventually they will all figure “Let’s flock to the US!! They’ll save us!”
I was thinking about that actually, surely a plane would be the perfect place for Ebola to spread about like crazy, like it would only take 1 cough to kill everybody on board right? Dunno.
Fact remains however there must be something going on, granted Americans were never accused of intelligence but it takes the piss when they know the score yet still get infected.
Air conditioning probably helps considerably. As long as fresh air is continuously being pumped in then there is a reduced risk, this is one of the key reasons why people who work indoors are more likely to get sick than people who work outdoors.
That may be true, but how long do you think the world can realistically hide from this? Sooner or later we would have to deal with it. Best be prepared ASAP. US, as usual, is the most realistic candidate for global savior.
hahaa
well air conditions play a part, I think one of the first instances was from cotton being contaminated by animal faeces and a lack of air ventilation and it ended up infecting all of the 5 people that worked their in rural Africa. And you have to remember, these health workers are working with patients’ piss, shit, and blood, if they don’t take off their gear correctly, they’re most likely going to get the highly infectious fluids on them. What I don’t get is Nigeria have almost eradicated their Ebola outbreak so it is quite obviously doable? And why don’t they use disinfectant bathing of the suits and UV lights? I don’t think it’s as airborne as some of you are pointing out/trying to make out, otherwise a lot more people would have got it in Western countries by now…
would it? i dont know what methods nigeria used to contain the virus, but sounds like America and the UK need to take notes.
yeah it’s breaking bad its on netfix.
i think certain cities should be barred of travellers from the hot zones to be honest… how would you ever be able to come into contact with every person with someone who has been riding the metro sick?
So the entire nursing staff is on monitor now. An anonymous letter from the nursing staff claims that Dunkan was left out of isolation in the open for hours. Plus, they didn’t use full protective gear until hours in.
I wouldn’t be surprised if several more individuals from the nursing staff were infected. Plus, the patients they cared for along with Dunkan during their regular duty cycle are also potentially at risk.
Experts believe some sort of vaccine can be created by the end of the year, by which time an estimated 500,000 people will have died.
BBC also have a vid explaining the biohaz suits http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-29628834
I don’t know if they do it, but a UV light would be helpful to see that no fluids have made skin contact.

So-called ebola expert stated in an interview that we don’t need to ban African flights until we start seeing 1 ebola infected traveler out of every 100 incoming people. With this halfassed screening how do we even know what we have now? And at point, isn’t it already too late? And why hasn’t the CDC stepped in to help and bring that hospital proper ppe?
