there are tooooo many talented players over there. The “Big Names” most people know about are just the ones they see in vids or the ones who come to Evo
Daigo or Mago losing is no upset. They are so good over there players we never heard of can win without it being an upset
That may be true but to americans that only know of players like Daigo/Mago etc. they’re gonna tend to pick them over someone they have no info about. To the japanese players it might not have been an upset but to people that are not familiar with all they players there, they’ll think it’s an upset.
Plus they only do one match fights. Even the best of the best can lose one match to someone who’s 2nd rate if it’s one match. They just have to be on point for one game and BOTB gets knocked out.
Yah but it’s funny to have a prediction thread where no one really has any clue about the competition, they just pick some japanese team of players that they’ve seen a few videos about. In order to make a good prediction, you should probably know the ENTIRE field of choices
You can’t tell me that the consistancy of Nemo/Mago wasn’t attractive as a pick. You just can’t. I knew all of the field and that was the best choice. It was the strongest team.
Man, “dick riding” has become a popular term around here. So has “clutch” and it’s really starting to get annoying. No offense to you in particular, of course.
clutch got popular cause of gootecks always saying it especially at sbo qualifiers at denjin. and dick riding has always been. but this guy is just on daigos nuts to think he sandbags in tournaments.
no, no, you don’t understand the powerful japanese mind that can analyze the yomis to do the psychci moves it is very important THE BEAST daigo lets his opponent win the japanese codes of honor he is like a samurai in many many ways
