I believe both Fuerte’s, Tetsu and TKD, placed in the top 8 if I am not mistaken. But I wonder why neither of them is in SBO, they are both amazing talents (both Nuki and Nemo were defeated by them on GodsGarden), so I am not sure why they didn’t qualify to SBO, hopefully one of them will make it in the last chance bracket, its just not the same with no Fuerte :sad:
dont know much of the japanese players. but im really hoping for one of the us team being at least third place.
justin would be able go through with balrog but the problem is the sagat players…
american boxer players and jap boxer players are way different. so jap players would have a hard time against it.
justin said it himself regarding the boxer players in the US and JAP . and the daigo interview after evo he said that he was really confident to win when justin picked boxer cause he would school boxer players in japan all day but he barely got by against justin’s boxer.
anyone know how soon the dvd will release after sbo. im soo looking forward to seeing the matches .

Ah thanks. Still sad to see no Fuertes. Him and Viper are some of my favorite characters to watch.
This. I want Mago and Nemo to win, but Shiro is just too damn sick with that Abel.
I also believe Wong and Marn will make it to top 8.
I believe Wong and Marn can make top 8. Even Valle and Combofiend have a slight chance. the format is set-up where any random surprise can happen. I think this is a year where the US can break top 8.
The team I think that has the better chance for top 8 is Wong/Marn. Valle can have cold spells where he can’t get much going ( like a large portion of the denjin qualifyers) if that happens to him at SBO then it’s over. Combofiend’s Viper is good but I don’t think he could clutch it out often against a large swath of the competition. Especially with the 2v2 single elim format. But who knows?
My grand final team is Mago/Nemo. Nemo’s chun is something else.
