Wow the thread was so intense back then lol.
Say what you will about my antics but my trolling did get sask some exposure. Granted starting a war with calgary and canada cup was ultimately a bad move but it did bring the hype. Now that everyone is getting along, everything seems so quiet now…the conflict is gone which IMO kind of sucks. Not because being a asshole is a good thing or anything but I feel that"conflict"did give some hype and excitement to the scene. It made going to events more interesting cause everyone was on edge over what may happen and sort of made everything feel taboo a bit. I think it could also inspire people to wanna improve and play the games more so that they can"shut so and so up".
Don’t get me wrong I look forward to the day when I can go to a event and not have to sit in a dark corner worrying that I might get kicked out, but I do miss some of the clashes of personalities that made the matches feel just a bit more engaging.
So after spending about a week+ with law I gotta say I really love the way he plays. I find him a lot more entertaining to use then fei only for the fact that he doesn’t have a easy way to approach situations. He has a decent footsie game and terrible AA game so it really feels like I’ve"earned"my wins anytime I come up against a good player. The only lingering issue I have now is with rufus and to be honest I don’t know if I have a good way around him. I lost to even just the generic "decent"rufus so I think this will be a match I probably won’t have a true grasp of until maybe a few months from now after playing some truly exceptional rufus players.
word. do you happen to have two sticks? are you bringing your setup? if so, bring both types of cables, i’m not sure what type of TV i’m going to have
You know after playing SFXT I kind of wish SF4 had a tag system now ha. I seriously think the SF series needs a all-star cast game with the complete SF roster in a tag team system exactly like SFXT.
Just what we need, another game where 30 seconds left means the round is over.
Ha well the round system wouldn’t be here so it would play like NGBC. Not to mention they could probably take out that annoying SF4 damage scale BS!

LOL no, I’ve actually played Chi-Rithy, he’s too beastly. Never got to play Samir unfortunately.
Gee I wonder why I would post under 2 accounts. Apparently someone who isn’t even from Sask starting a shit throwing match is acceptable, but claiming you have a group of friends who play FGs is not, and like I said, Ric has issues with the focus being taken away from his diary.
I never claimed to be anyone else, you just jumped to conclusions that I was pulling a Ric. But we already established you aren’t too bright so, nothing new to report I guess.
I’m not scared of anything. I’d play anyone here, if we already happened to be in the setting for something like that. I’ll be damned if I’m going to invite one of you social rejects (not referring to everyone here) into my home/take the time to meet you specifically to humble you though. Again (and I can’t stress this enough) I really don’t care, I just find it HILARIOUS that you guys think you’re remotely good.

I got to play RF in the 3s tournament at CC2011. I obviously knew I was going to lose but it was quite the eye-opener realizing that there was no way I could ever land a hit on Chun-Li without basically risking my entire health bar. I did almost win a round though.
