Ok so I’ve had more time to fight decent rufus and vega players and I think I know the best strat to win…just wait it out. Vega’s sweep is fully punishable if it whiffs and outside just walking he has no real way to close the gap. He still beats law because his normals can shut down any attempt makes in the footsie game but if I play defensively enough and occasionally move forward I think I can force the error out of vega. Rufus is a bit different since playing a footsie game with him is pointless, however with NJ I can make the rufus player avoid just rushing in.
I still need some more time to see what normals and frame traps are most effective on vega, cause it stands does he even have anything that is unsafe or punishable?

And I don’t see the point of setting anything up online. With the connections here there is really nothing to gain once you’re past scrub-level. If anything it will make you worse because you’ll stop reacting and start guessing…combined with how you might find a couple canadians on at once if you’re lucky, and none of them will be good.
