Sure. But the ArcEye3’s are just installed by clicking them onto the back of the button. No drilling or getting inside of the button is required. In fact, Joe just explained a good point. But couldn’t hurt to try.
EDIT: @Joe - Doesn’t the silencer get placed inside the pushbutton? I thought the majority of the LED’s light is showing through the rim of clear buttons which is one of the main attractions of the LED (Unless people like their buttons completely clear). Not sure on what these silencers look like so I wouldn’t know.
try it out and see if you like the results… I have already sent pictures to Marcelo on how to try to get around the issue but the light from the LED’s are far from optimum.
This is greatness. Just dont know how many practice hours have been lost due to my crazy work schedule and it being too late to hit buttons on my sticks when I get home. I know I’ve missed out on being on the frontend of being a tester for these, but the minute they are available for sale, i will be a customer. Until then ill just keep throwing money @ my laptop until something happens
Not trying to be mean, so please don’t take anything I write as a negative. But at first the production costs will be too high for most people to afford them and it will be too hard for everyone to get them. If this is the way you think don’t even bother. I ask that you don’t think that way. At first just figure out your production costs for now, make some then put them up for sale for at least enough to pay for the materials and your business start-up costs (If you just went to the county clerk and got a DBA, stop doing everything and file as at least an LLC (limited liability company). doing business as a sole proprietorship (DBA) is the most dangerous and stupid way to conduct business. I won’t go into it here, but if you want to know why message me and I will explain it) Now put you stuff up for sale. If you sell out too quickly your price is too low, if they don’t sell well your price is too high. Push the hand made aspect of your business, because once these catch on someone is going to start making these in China. Also contact the better known modders in the community like Da Rabid Duckie and see if you can partner up and allow people to buy these through them as they are getting sticks modded. Don’t be afraid to ask for money, you need money to replenish supplies, you need money to market, and you need money for your next project
Around a week now using these, sounds good and the response and feel is the same as a normal sanwa silent buttons I tired, and seems like the same material as far as I can tell from the high res photos someone posted here, and same thickness.
