Mvc2=dead at perrien beitel. We probably played alot in 3s cause i used to get there the whole weekend. thurs-sun. i played w/ juan(ken)cory(oro)jayjay(ibuki) ME (makato,yang) anyways 2k3 at perrien bietel. PB closed b4 2k3 came to SA so i dont think you owned anybody good maybe 2k2. but nah. The best 3splayer in aus. is mopriend. But he doesnt use Chun-li as his serious player so you didnt play the best you just played a good person i guess.
anyways to make it worth your while for a big tourney will have to wait till later on this yr or next yr.

Eh, my Strider/Doom ain’t that hot. Especially because you have to be very percise with that team and we know that the sticks at Diversions aren’t gonna win any accuracy awards.

I don’t know why i listed this but, it is certain that these are the characters we mostly use at SWM Diversions as a most common used character (of our own opinion,I guess). I listed this for maybe people won’t think of us using the god-tier to much(you know what I mean?) .

I’ll take any of you all on with Strider. He’s fun as hell to play with but if you goof then that’s your ass right there. I’d say I’m decent with him but only if the stick is being nice. :bgrin:
Strider/Sent/Doom is the best scrub busting team ever. Even better than my tourney team since most scrubs aren’t sure what to do when orbs and rocks are constantly flying in their face.

never played in any of what tournies? i DID play in the ONE 3rd Strike tourney they held while i was there. and as a correction, i didn’t mean that the guy who used chun li was the best in austin, only that he was the best from austin that day. anyway, SA still won the tournament, don’t remember his name, a cool black dude using Ken and Urien. i don’t know if anyone will remember me, except maybe juan, who taught me how to play the game. (i never played 3rd Strike against anyone before besides the computer, so i had been playing against people for only 2 months, while everyone else had been playing for like 2 years… he taught me all the moves and concepts of the game, but i still couldn’t parry the way everyone else could.) everyone else hated me, he only seriously disliked me LOL. i was the guy in all black, sunglasses, sometimes black skullcap and biker gloves. my wife was the short little mexican girl with long black hair that murdered everyone in Soul Calibur 1 with Sophitia.
anyway, i haven’t been in SA for about a year now.
just to set things straight, i am NOT talking shit here or saying that i “owned” anyone. (except in Chaos, which was difficult for people who were used to the fast movement and slow attacks of 3rd Strike… Chaos instead has slow movement and fast attacks) as a matter of fact, i was complimenting you guys, saying that you are the best defensive players i have ever come across, and the only group of players anywhere that really frustrated the hell out of me. which is why i say that want to play you in other games, where i actually have the advantage. (or at least no major disadvantage)
and the correction that you made was right, it was KOF02 not 03, but my confidence is still the same. why? for the same reason that you guys killed me repeatedly in 3rd Strike: experience. i have played in KOF tournies in Mexico City for years now, home of the strongest KOF fighters in the world. as Cory found out when he underestimated me in SvC: Chaos (probably because he kicked the hell out of me in 3rd Strike) i don’t suck when you can’t parry all my moves. btw, props to Cory also for being the only person to really dominate me in SC2, at least the first few times that he played me. but at the end of every match in Chaos, he was complaining that “all i did was fireball.” which i didn’t, but he wasn’t used to losing against me i suppose. (side note: funny that he always used terry, to whom he resembled with that cap LOL). in truth, i do use a modified version of the fireball trap, but i guess he ignored my brutal high/low-cancel-throw-super/counter game. (and even if you think that my improved fireball trap is “cheap”, who cares? why should i show you the rest of my moves so that you can learn ways to get past them, too? no, i’ll save them until you can beat the fireball trap. street fighter II has been around for like 15 years now… if you can’t get past the fireball trap by now, then you shouldn’t be playing video games.)
anyway, i’m not bragging, or talking shit to insult anyone. it’s a compliment: your defense completely shut down my offense and frustrated me. and because of that, you all think i am weak in video games, which is why i was laughing that i want revenge!! in games like KOF, mvc 1 & 2, i have confidence that i could have beaten most any of you, and even the people who could manage to beat me sometimes would still be in for a hell of a fight! but nobody played those games when i was there.
anyway, if you think i am talking shit or insulting you, which i don’t mean to do, then i will refrain from posting on the SA thread anymore, and see if i can get up the money to visit texas during your next big tourney.

there were no mvc2 tournies in SA when i was there, at least not at any Diversions that i frequented, though i never made it to the SWM location. mostly PB, and nobody there ever played it.
