Consider my defense revoked then ^_^. Was just trying to be helpful and dick around ideas about why it’s not getting on the frontpage. If everything I said before is thrown out, my best theory is this:
What is the goal of getting cupcakes on SRK frontpage? Is it to get more people to watch the live stream, to spread knowledge of the event for more attendance, to remind people that this game is still being worked on? I think a good start for any of this would be an official post on the skullgirls.com site. Have you alerted gametrailers or IGN of the event? IGN writes weekly articles of WNF and even if they write one article about the Salty Cupcakes that could be link’d around- would be a great shot of publicity.
Right now, I just sent a message to Fanboygaming about when will Skullgirls Side Tourney starts? If anyone from here lives in San Diego, CA (like me) the Fighting Tournament is every Friday at the Microsoft Store (Fashion Valley Mall). Also, if anyone from here is planning on going, don’t start planning until I get info on when the date actually starts & if you are going, it’s Xbox 360 Consoles only, since it’s at the Microsoft Store. If you don’t have an Xbox 360 Fightstick like me, then maybe someone might be able to let you borrow theirs.
So much effort to make it on the front page of SRK. Event hubs has not even responded to my multiple “submit a tip” tips. I don’t know whats going on there but it seems like the 2 sites copy either others front page and write there own article. I’m gonna try neogaf and gamefaqs.
