The one who gets the advantage for the next round of tigershot trade is the one who reaches later the opponent during the current trade.
I interpreted this as the following:
Meaning that the one that has the advantage on the next trade of the fireball will be the one whose fireball reached the opponent last. Basically, that the one whose fireball spended more active time (indirectly also means is that he reached the recovery frames of the fireball first) is the one with the advantage for the next trade.
This simulteanously means that he will be able to start a kara ts while the opponent will have a harder time doing so or not be able at all to do a kara ts and have to use a normal ts to be able to keep with the trade. This will lead into a series of kara ts of the player with the advantage on the first round which will result in him closing the distance and perhaps cause you to eat a ts on the startup frames of your ts if the strenght of your ts shot is not adjusted to the distance and you will be forced to either neutral jump / FA backdashing (but loosing ground in the process) or to spend a bar to reset or regain the advantage of the fireball game.
You have solid frame traps you need to capitalize on the damage on them. But being able to anti most things will help with your zoning because people won’t know if it’s safe to jump or not. Look at bonchan…dude anti airs almost everything. Plus your not supposed to jump on sagat. If good players see that they will take advantage.
Kstoute, I’ll tell you what you really need to improve on, real talk.
You can’t get frustrated for starters. What Jimmy(Local Ryu Player) does to you shouldn’t frustrate you, that when you start to lose. You may say that you lose to a random player, but Jimmy is known for his reads and risk/reward tactics.
You gotta stay patient, you’re Sagat, he’s not a rush down Character, and you Definitely cannot rush-down my Sagat yet you still try in the match-up because you get impatient in the fireball war.
You don’t kara TU AA enough, you’ll do it through fireballs, but you never do it to people who jump
jimmy is the only person who frustrates me as for being patient im usually patient against other charcs i pretty much turtle and keep my ground but i know what youre saying as for the games its w.e
Hi guys, I wanted to ask a general question but I think it applies to Sagat. Im trying to do several of the trials where you do a fireball and then FA which crumples the opponent. I think Sagat’s trila 20 is like this as well.
Can I please ask, generally speaking what do I need to do to get the FA to crumple? (Guile, Gouken, Juri, and other characters have similar trials. Any help would be much appreciated, thanks!
I have a question
After TU FADC sometimes my opponent will be put into what I could describe as a spinstate
I see most Sagat players deal with this by doing a Tiger knee instead of the normal forward roundhouse
My question is what causes this spinstate?
