Its just funny that a lot of the guys who want DLC 1) dont play competitively and 2) havent even played MvC3 so far.
With the TGS build I would be sufficed, in all honesty. Im sure everyone whos played the game so far wouldnt bitch if they got to play ONLY the characters we have seen so far. I know I wouldnt complain. And thats what… 1/2 of the full roster at most?
Yet and still some of you guys are still crying and moaning over who didnt make the cut instead of who did. You guys are gonna get tired of getting your ass kicked online and run to another game in 6 months anyway. What you want DLC for?
In general on here people are saying ‘more characters would be cool, why not?!’ as compared to ‘waah the chick I wanted didn’t get in!’
And realistically *none *of us play competetively, not really Beyond that most of the regulars have played some build or another by now (even if an old one).
We want DLC because there’s no compelling reason to not have it, and more characters are always cool. We’re thinking of it positively.
I feel like you’re trying to get into an argument with Unity, not SRK.
Like you said, NONE of us are competitive. So we could still play bottom tier teams and see successes because that glass ceiling will never be reached by the average person who see’s why bottom tier is bottom tier.
DLC is cool with me.
I just dont want DLC to finally include X Y and Z.
If Cyclops was intended to be in he would be in. So bitching for him as DLC is just silly to me and I hope Capcom doesn’t give in to this type of thing. Mind you people are asking for MvC2 characters that have more or less been replaced. lol @ Cable and Capcom. WHY?
Maybe I am arguing with Unite members in disguise.
Who? I body cats for free. Watch when Gaurd Crush gets MvC3. I’m in there lol
I agree with this. But what if it was a liscensing issue or some bull. Then it’s resolved 1 year later and we get someone from say Killer 7 and Ghost Rider (not playable but cameo why?)
Considering we won’t see AE characters TOUCH consoles until at least a year after SSF4 release (since they obviously want AE to get dat money), I don’t think we have to worry about that from Capcom.
There are better reasons why certain chars don’t make it and could be DLC other than milkin, like, time. Regardless of what we might think, they do have a deadline. Continuously pushing back dates is a bad example of being unprepared, and setting the deadline farther into the future…I dunno how long it takes to make a concept, create the model, VAing, animations and effects, develop, test, develop, test, test, etc…they have to limit themselves. MvC2 did not work the same way, obviously. Just another way to please fans when CAPCOM was forced to drop their favorites.
It was mentioned in Kotaku that you can buy them separately 4 weeks after release. Besides, it doesn’t make sense to make the DLC characters exclusive to the CE only.
capcom is pissing me off with all this dlc bullshit. so for two characters that are already going to be on the disc when the game ships, and ready to play as well, many players will have to pay to be able to play as a whole month after release. this is taking DLC to the extreme even worse than the whole resi 5 versus mode debacle last year.
capcom may as well release MVC3 with only 6 characters playable, and then you have to pay for each extra character that you want to use. releasing DLC immediately after a game is released is bad business imo, but to fucking advertise it and use it as a selling point for the special ed is almost criminal. Anyone who doesnt buy the spec ed is pretty much buying a gimped version of the game.
Most folks are actually going to want DLC for this to come out quick, especially since alot of folks wanted certain characters to be in who were cut from the initial roster.
This better not get out of hand. No more than 8 (including these two) dlc characters. If more than that are missing I’ll be pissed. Totally unfair to do that.
