I thought the haters were done with discussing the game. Really thought that was what happened. If they already formed an opinion why comeback to rally people to your side while being an ass to everybody.
Also if your too poor to spend $10 on dlc, but own a ps3/xbl you got to have better priorities than omg tourney and competitive scene
I for one live in a small town and as such Tournies aren’t happening much for me unless they’re online. I can dizzle with DLC. COURSE I can see the issue for shit like EVO
Had a bit of a thought per Jill and Shuma; if they were nearly as done as the other characters we’ve seen (and as we saw with mags and She-hulk, some of them aren’t very done), they probably would have released some demo videos now that the cat is out of the bag. This implies circumstantially that they’re not nearly as done as even Mags was.
Not the strongest logic, but there’s some sense to it I think.

I hope this doesnt cause people to really insinuate that they are DLC because Capcom didnt have time to finish them. lol.
As if it wasnt obvious at this point that at least some of the DLC was laid out before release ie: could have still been in the game out the box. But im not complaining.
On an unrelated note
Its a lot of green characters at this point. Its a little bothersome. I would have liked Red Hulk or something. Or some orange characters. All the freaks are green.
Why can’t it be both? They planned out some DLC but won’t start working on it until the game is otherwise done.

Well I would have preferred if they actually did polls on characters and gave worthwhile DLC. We could have ended up with Amingo and Servbot, then I would have been pissed. Shuma and Jill is just surprisingly right, and kudos to Capcom for that one.
EDIT: actually…like…give us a list to choose from. Dont just leave it up to SRK completely, you know half these retards would really vote for Howard The Duck because theyre stupid.

EDIT: Its a lot of “yellow” energy to go along with all these “green” characters. I notice little shit like that. Im glad we got Magnus with purple energy (wanted Psylocke) and hopefully storm shows up soon so we can have some white in the mix.
Too bad they took away Dooms pink lasers.
Other than Arthur and Chris, those are all pretty much rushdown characters with projectile supers.
Dormammu is unique, more like a Blackheart style character.
I guess I should have been more specific and said there are not any Cable style characters in the game.
I kinda like that Capcom announce that there will be DLC. It shows they plan on supporting the game post release.
I rather they not put what they plan to add as DLC into the main game at this point. It may cause the game to be delayed.
Insinuate nothing, I’m explicitly saying that’s the case. And of course they planned them out well before the release. The truth is the character design team doesn’t have unlimited resources or manpower, and these things do take a fair amount of time. As far as we know they’re just on a list of ‘who we’ll do first, ignoring the release deadline’.
I’m thinking of starting a thread here when the game is out (and we know the full roster) to get everyone’s wishlist. 6 characters from Capcom and 6 from Marvel. After one month I would post in Unity’s suggestion box a link to the spreadsheat with everybody’s request and the sum of the votes.
But is it worth the trouble? Is Capcom going to hear it? 6 characters is too much? Should I limit votes to people who have more than one month of membership in SRK (to stop clones for skewing the pool)?
