yeah. I have a problem with Haggar and Chris. certain characters like Trish and Hawkeye and Ghost Rider give them fits. to allieviate this I use Vergil.

My Vergil’s pretty ass, but what I’m really interested in this team is, damn, how are you using Rising Sun? That sounds like a really interesting assist to use, especially since vergil’s second and not first. What do you have with it?
Oh, and for the other guy, and anyone else who cares about Haggar and X-23, I’ve tested a few teams with Haggar/???/X-23, just to see how the team fought, and how Haggar used the assists.
Jam Session: Oh my god, this team is so damn fun. Haggar gets a lot of time to do whatever he wants, and jam session really stops Haggar from being pushed away with advancing guard, which annoys me when I’m running beams or arrow assists. And the assist with the possibility of spinning if things get footdivey really wins the matchup against people above my head, and a lot of divekickers. It’s really momentum-heavy, with the possibility of an XF comeback with X-23 in case things go wrong. So, here’s the problem. Unless I get a really strong Dante really really fast, this whole team can get zoned hard. If Haggar’s fullscreen he will become the bitch of guys like doctor strange and dormammu and hawkeye, Dante can’t win ranged wars with the more full-zoning characters unless he has devil trigger, and Teleports without an assist to cover them seem to be pretty risky. In XF3, good luck to them, but normally X-23 can be zoned out, at least against horizontal zoners like hawkeye and strange’s eye. The resets with Dante are a hoot, though. So many fun little moments to make simple combos into touches of death.
Dagger Toss: Well, this assist is godlike, Arthur gives Haggar a safe mode to dhc to, and the THC and DHC potential is great. I love it a lot more than Tasky’s arrows, because I get to move so quickly after it. Simple weakness for this team, teleporters. A Good Dorm or Dante will require X-23 to do most of the work later in the match, after Haggar and Arthur get slaughtered.
Log Trap: Oh my god this is amazing. I see very few problems with this one, just X-23 would go second in this scenario. She has no good dhcs into a fight, they’re all unsafe, so putting a spring and getting her in isn’t too feasible. But it extends great for X-23 and the team absolutely destroys anyone who likes to be at normaljump height.
Bolts: For combos and grabs it’s nice, but X-23 doesn’t get cheap mirage M crossups because they can duck things.
Taskmaster: Great unless I’m fighting Doom/Trish zoning, then this team feels really really annoying to play. Otherwise, he’s good in most respects, covers some matchups, I just feel he doesn’t bring that cheap stuff I like.
Dormammu: I feel he covers matchups and DHCs the best, but doesn’t have as godlike an assist as the rest.
Of course, this could just be my lack of experience playing a few of the characters, namely Dante, but I felt like Haggar and X-23’s game was affected a lot by the people they paired with.
rising sun hits easily after Haggar otg. you can extend a combo with it after any throw or command grab. or if in the corner its time for free throw resets.
h command grab otg rising sun pipe. that alone is almost 500k. and that’s before combo time and resets
Oh, wow, didn’t think of that. I may have to try out Haggar/Vergil/Projectile assist, then. I’d probly go Tasky, since he’s my bestest friend. That and I don’t play like any of the other good horizontal projectile assist characters.

I Use Haggar Chris Taskmaster. With Vergil subbing in for either Haggar or Chris depending on whats needed.
Excellent closeup.
Anyone else using Unibeam with Haggar?
Decided to go back to using Haggar/Dorm/Doom. Team Buff Slow Hard-Hitting Men. I just love how hard this team hits and how Double Lariat & Plasma Beam make Dormammu play lame.
I have interesting news. A person at Next Level during casuals before Curleh Mustache played me with my own team of Haggar Chris Taskmaster since he uses Chris and Haggar also.
The result? I will switch Chris Gun Fire to Land Mine. On welcome mixup you must guess on placement of Violent Axe L or M. If I guess wrong. you cant punish since Haggar is standing on top of a mine, I will continue to pressure you as I please. If you get hit by the Axe. You die… if you hit me, you hit the land mine. Then you die.
Team Rulers. I like it.
god this sounds disgusting as fuck
Are there any surefire ways to do a blockstring with a projectile or beam assist then do M Hoodlum Launcher and catch the opponent with the grab the moment they leave blockstun? I think I’ve seen it done before with certain projectile, and I’m trying to find a way to do it with Unibeam. I found a method that works where I call Unibeam and do L Hoodlum, if it hits I get a combo. If they block L Hoodlum and Unibeam I do a M Hoodlum launcher right away and that tags them. Still I think I can make it grimier.

prolly just involves practice. easy way would be with Chris Gun Fire or Bolts of Ballsack or something that can condition them to block and be scared.
I think it would be better to do it rarely
Haggar/Dante have insane synergy I’ve noticed but I’m wondering if theres any with Nova? I tried utilizing Cent Rush M assist with Haggar on point but it didn’t really do much for him. Perhaps having Nova on point with Haggar using Lariat would work better? Or I’m just not using Cent Rush M properly lol.
I do it with tron’s bandit boulder, but it never works because people endlessly pushblock.
Its a really, really risky move that leads to a TOD if it connects. SPDing the opponent the moment they leave Unibeam blockstun is probably a much better way to open people up.
For the most part, if you want to land M Hoodlum, wouldn’t it be best to just tick throw into it with st. LM?
Haggar/Dorm/Doom is my Nova/Spencer/Strange. They are kinda similar.
Does this team hit really hard? I’ve been fiddling with Haggar and it seems like I cant get away from Haggar/Strange just because of SoV THC. Shit does like infinity damage holy fuck, are there any other THCs that let Haggar do this much damage?
The team does hit hard, but it doesn’t allow for extensions after THCs. You can get 1.1 million damage with two meters without THCing.
Haggar/Dante is a THC that hurts, because you have all the time in the world to add more damage.
Arthur and Chris are also pretty impressive ones for followups/damage
Deadpoool + Iron Man with three bars does 1.4 (or around there after L Hoodlum, Wild Swing, Drop Kick OTG) off a bnb, and 1.1 to 1.2 off a pipe hit, air throw, or SPD. 5 bars gets you 1.65 after two THCs.
