I’ve been playing thru re4wii recently, great game, but a few things they could improve for re5:
-Allow analog control of movement speed.
-Change the run button to a strafe.
And the controls would be perfect.
Sweet baby jesus PLEASE let this game come out this year…oh lord PLEASE.
This game sounds so damn awesome…just fucking unreal. Sherry is 22? Flashbacks? Man, maybe we’ll get a tiny bit of Leon action to boot.

Well fuckers then, I gotta make sure I have a PS3 or 360 by that time then. Letting the HALO3, DMC4 and R&C4 go by without having a console to play them is one thing, but letting the next chapter in RE pass me by just will not happen. Might have to start knocking over some old ladies in the parking lot…
New trailer premieres tonight! It should be up on Gametrailers around 10 EST (I think) then it’ll show up on Gametrailers TV on Spike later tonight.
I dunno about that. It seems they’re going for more of a realistic thing with this one, whereas Leon was like a super-badass who could take people down with a knife. 
Dude, if both Chris and Leon were in an RE game, then they might as well sell a dildo attachment for the PS3/360 because my wife would never stop playing. She already think Leon is h-o-t, wait until she sees how beefy Chris turned out to be…
You know i just finished playing through RE4 again for like the umpteenth time and the Leon and Krauser fights are still good mainly the little mini-game knife fight you had. It felt sort of like the Chris and Wesker fights from Code Veronica.
Hopefully in RE5 we can get an actual Chris and Wesker fight.
Wesker is still G-Virused out and I would imagine he’d be ultra strong. Even for the new beefy Chris.
Krauser was pretty virused out too(I don’t know if he had a plagas or if he had a virus courtesy of Wesker) but Leon was still somewhat of a match.
I’m pretty sure Chris will find a way to fight Wesker.
I would love to see a similar battle take place between Chris and Wesker (though I really hate that fight in RE4). I’ve beaten that game probably 2 or 3 dozen times by now and only once did I ever beat that knife fight without dying.
Regarding Krauser, he’s infected with Birkin’s G-virus, isn’t he? I thought I read somewhere that Krauser’s apperantly infected with that strain but is able to control it. I might be wrong though…
Just saw the new trailer on Gametrailers TV on Spike. It was pretty good, but I was expecting a couple of new things to pop up. Oh well, still looks good. Should be on gametrailers.com in the next 20 minutes.
Yea, it was ok. Not a fan of the RE4 style. I’m in this for the story and because it’s RE. Looks slightly more horror driven than RE4 was which is good. I’m worried the survival element will be gone once again with enemies dropping ammo and money. It’s just a shooting gallery.
the whole horror element for me is gone…not that I mind…as I have now said since playing RE4 it’s now more Action thriller…I was entertained and that is all i care about.

But leave it to SOMEONE to not be satisfied. RE4 was damn near perfect they owe us to keep this current system unchanged for the most part for at LEAST one more sequel.

My only gripe is that the premise went from “There’s a virus that is released from deep within the earth” to (and thanks to the trailer) “Everyone’s favorite Parasite is Back! LAS PLAGAS!”
“Now featuring, Africans and black dogs!”
But I’m super duper happy that the co-op character is an African woman. This way we’ll have a foil to the infected Africans around you. The guns, their sound effects and effects on humans, are just delightful as well.
Right like those movies where the explorer went into dangerous africa with a native guide
