For context I beat RE Gun Survivors and Gaiden. Also Alien Colonial Marines.

RE6 is not as bad many people are out to be. On a pure gameplay standpoint the game is great. The shooting is on point and melee has a lot of nuance behind it. Everything around it is what sucks.
Leon’s part was good up until around chapter 4. I actually didn’t mind Jake’s stealth missions either. It was Chris’s part that was pure ass.
I watched a review of it shortly after I bought it from the humble bundle saying if you treat it as a crazy ass TPS then it’s pretty fun. After I finish it I think I’ll go through them all again.
The camera sucked in RE6 for me. It had this weird tilt effect that becomes annoying after a while. Did anyone else pick that up?
Am I the only one who loooooved playing Resident Evil Outbreak online on the PS2? Co-op survival horror was so fun! I wish they’d make another one.
After I beat Chris game I didnt even feel like playing the other characters.

I wouldn’t call Jake’s campaign great. His campaign has the most annoying shit in the game. The blizzard segment from the second chapter, the beginning of the third when you break out of the China facility that is a huge pain in the ass especially when your Sherry and the Ustanak was a lame villain. Having all his appearances be heavily scripted takes away any edge the character could have.
They should make ala RE4 style another outbreak game. I’d buy it.
Man I remember having so much fun and being disappointed because we were still in caveman internet days and I couldn’t get a good connection for shit. The premise was too ahead of it’s time, but the gameplay was on point. I liked the infection idea and needing a cure if you got bit.
Just played the demo. I’m feeling the new direction.
That might be why I gave up on the game
