Claire lookin’ like she MAD as fuck . I do like that they kept her red & blue color scheme, in typical RE fashion. In the low-quality magazine scans it looked like she was just wearing a grey pantsuit. And Barry needs to tell Sherry Jr to put some damn pants on.

I guess Capcom is going to make every Redfield goes off the deep end. :coffee:

Claire should be mad as fuck. She joined TerraSave to avoid bioterror bullshit! W

Lol right! After Code: Veronica X I bet she was like, “Fuck this I’m out” and now she found herself in a monster-infested cruise ship.

Obviously didn’t work considering how the movie went. Leon or Chris aren’t here to save her ass this time though. She’s gonna have to get the job done herself…and preferably NOT storm a headquarters with their own personal helicopter of death.

In before the inevitable fanart of those 2 ladies.

Don’t blame clair for being pissed. She of the main playable cast wasn’t exactly trained to deal with shit unlike everyone else.

Hey, none of them were trained to deal with…well, everything that happened in Resident Evil. All of them learned in the field. The difference is she was the only one who tried to retire from it.

Formal training regarding weapons survival I mean. Leon was an officer and jill/chris were in STARS.

Weapons survival is a bit different than…what happened. It’s the emotional turbulence that’s an issue, and it’s something her big brother who actually was trained struggled with mightily not once but twice.

didn’t rebecca try to do so as well? last we heard about her was that she tried to retire in medicine or something? she would be like 30 something now according to the RE6 timeline

I don’t care about all that…this shit better have cpu partner actually do damage to the enemies, and have the option of a second player controlling the partner. Netplay would be nice for that. I find that most of the time, when you have friends/co-workers that play games, they don’t play the same genre or sometimes even the same SYSTEM you do, and the ones that DO tend to live over 30 minutes away and aren’t inclined to travel just to game with you.

It seemed that as the series progressed, Rebecca became less irrelevant and memorable. Everyone remembers Claire because she had her half of RE2 and later her own game (I feel she doesn’t get enough credit though). As I recall, Rebecca didn’t even have much screentime in one of the games (Resident Evil for the GC I believe)and she gets killed off early. I guess it’s because she wasn’t one on the level of the more active fighters (Chris and Jill for example).

Had Claire been in 6 that would had been the end of her, with her brother going off the deep end, though I believe she have the brains to realize that Ada and Carla were different people.

Rebecca doesn’t die. She canonically survived the events of RE1. What happened to her after the events of that game are unknown.

I know she survived the events canonically, but I was referring to this; that’s why I said as I recall.

my buddy tells me that co-op won’t really be co-op since that new baatch won’t do anything besides flashing a flashlight. Is this true?

Moira job is to hold the flashlight and heal Claire. She won’t help with combat.

that is heartbreaking man. Why make it so 1 player get all the fun and the other one the sleepingpill? I honestly do not understand that.
Ah well , i guess playing it singleplayer might be ideal then.

I guess this is Capcom’s way of having co-op while still maintaining survival horror. I’ve have seen complains from fans saying it’s difficult for a game to be scary when played with a buddy. I think Moira could be helpful for inexperience players to get through the game.

I thought/hoped they were gonna go for something something lost-in-nightmare-ish. That seemed like pretty good survival horror 2 me.
yeah i do remember that quote where they say that a game is less scary when played with a friend , but i still don’t see why they would go with this designchoice tho.
The one playing Moira would still be a friend and someone who is there , and for all i know maybe even do fartsounds in mic. you know what i’m saying? lol

However… If Claire can’t heal herself (which would be retarded) , and if the flashlight in some magical way is complex and has a learningcurve - forcing you to learn how to operate it in order to progress…i can sort of see some value in the concept.

atm tho it sounds like single player is the way 2 go.
