REALLY good news for you then. there is extra content too and not just graphic boost. and I think remake has better voice acting and not the same shitty ones from the original re1.

dont even need all that. wesker campaign for re1 would be good enough. I still wanna know what HE was doing the whole time jill/berry/chris and rest of the crew were surviving. and RPD outfit please. none of that matrix/neo garbage.
Remake has some pretty cool modes other than the main game. Playing Real Survival Mode with Chris’ 6 item spaces is pretty challenging. Invisible Enemy Mode with Jill’s health is almost as hard.
I read the RE1 novel. From all the info from that, and from other sources, Wesker was just dicking around in RE1. Just wandering around, maybe killing a few monsters, killing Enrico, blackmailing Barry, and the stuff at the end. According to the book, Wesker was the one that killed the Black Tiger. In all, not much for a campaign.
New IP from Shinji Mikami, basically RE 4.5 with a much creepier art style from what we’ve seen so far, hell could be better than any RE. Where you been son?
an origins story would be unique, how wesker got his powers, maybe chris and jills first training session in STARS, or the mansion before the outbreak since it was a secret facility that experimented on stuff; maybe see the staff members
the rest of the STARS members story too, I mean before the zombies they fought like terrorist or something or did STARS always deal with bio weapons?
Weskers got he his powers after he got was nearly killed by a tyrant. He injected himself with a virus he was given by Berkin to survive the attack. Berkin gives him the virus in RE0 though I don’t recall if any game shows Wesker injecting himself with the virus.
The mansion incident is the first time STARS dealt with bioweapons. All the members of Bravo team save Rebecca died.
RE0 never showed him injecting himself with the virus. Birkin is yhe their nly one to be shown injecting himself but that was RE2. Umbrella Chronicles did a decent job covering what happened to Wesker. Yes it could have been done better but storywise it covers that base.
