I guess the same principal to getting around him applies though?
That’s wack about dodge. It’s like issening in Onimusha, except I can’t really tell how to do it in this. :shake: lol

yea, but the AI for NEM is really unpredictable on both normal and hard. As you saw after a stab/retreat/reset, sometimes NEM would not chase you after he whiffed a punch. Then all of a sudden, he’ll bum-rush you with an instant “burning knuckle” outta nowhere when you’re in the middle of your retreat/reset. Anticipating that kind of attack is good for a dodge, but I haven’t seen too many people actually try to dodge while running (i’m not even sure that you can) because his run animation is hella fast. Dodging NEM is probably the best only when he has a rocket launcher back in the first encounter. at least you can see that coming. Dodging two/three punches in a row with very low start-up from NEM is damn near not worth it. You’re better off learning Jill’s range with the knife and don’t get too greedy with trying for extra stabs when he’s pimp-walking towards you.
Issen is not that hard compared to this and depending on which game we’re talking about. In Oni1 it was difficult, Oni2 was a bit easier for me and I could go threw the first 20 minutes of the game with instant kills up until the first boss fight, Oni3 was ridiculous unless you were not remembering Jean’s part where he was in the middle of a battle field and all the lesser’s are in the animation for you to get guaranteed instant kills. 10-15 minutes of that and you’d have enough souls to max out everything. I think Oni4 was the game where issen difficulty was a joke on how easy and broken it was especially with a partner.
Yea man, I got through issen only in Oni 3, and had it down to a science in 1 and 2. This is some other shit. lol
I might play it. To me it seems like left for dead with a skill system.
@RE:AL movie,
they combined the zombies from RE1 with RE4 & RE5 so they were like hybrid zombies, which pissed me the hell off, especially after seeing “digger zombies” and “swimming zombies”. silly thing was, you have all of these abilities and yet, they never spoke and they never used weapons. So, yea, they went overboard with the lesser enemies, and yet tried to keep them from being “totally broken”. A total waste of a movie.
Afterlife came off like a more competent movie than Apocalypse and especially Extinction.
I liked Apocalypse.
^ me too
a bunch of lemmings, lol.
that movie was garbage. actually they all were except for the first one and mike epps.
All the Resident Evil movies suck ass, don’t kid yourself thinking the first was decent.
PFFFFFFTTTT!
The first one was ok, a step below decent. The last movie was unbearable.
I just watched all the RE movies and even the CGI one, and I can confidently say that they all suck. I hope one day Romero gets a crack at it.
why DIDNT get it is beyond me…
land of the dead was so fucking badass lol…that ni99a know how to make zombie movies
Whoa whoa sir, now i’ll give you the live action one for sure but the CGI one beats the living hell out of the live action ones for free plus it had Leon brokenness in it. Can’t go wrong with that.
What was the last one, Afterlife? I saw it in 3D, what a waste of money that was. I liked how the big axe wielding Majini from RE5 just appears out of nowhere to fuck up their gate, with absolutely no explanation.
Funny thing, he was originally scheduled to film one with a script by the games writers as early as '99 I think? Negotiations fell through and the studio was sitting on the license, so they handed it off to what’s his face and history was made, bad history.
I’m pretty sure I remember reading the script Romero wrote up. It was hot garbage. :shake:
Just ran through Darkside Chronicles w/ fam. Smfh @ Capcom for not remaking RE 2 / RE 3.
Degeneration was great cuz it felt like a Resident Evil Product in that it cheesy, goofily acted, had over the top bull shit in it and was fun while not taking a white hot dump on it’s source material unlike the live action movies.
Degeneration was stupid fun and it brought back Claire for a bit so I loved it. And Romero’s script about mountain climbing, eagle feeding Chris Redfield was junk.
Diary of the Dead and Survival of the Dead were really bad. George Romero needs to hang it up.
First four were phat though. Dawn, Night, Day, Land in that order.
Also Resident Evil 0 was great. Anyone who says otherwise is stupid, hurray internet opinions.
