What system would you guys say has more competitive Mercenaries players for RE5? Even though I got 1000/1000 in RE5, I never really got into Mercs for some reason. In RE4 I was a pretty decent player, I didn’t set any records or anything but I could get good scores with some characters.
Merc is co-op, nigga. The goal is to get through that shit together, not try to get killed going solo.
Capcom does this with nintendo systems: a couple good games (or remakes with a lot of new content/extra features) that can’t be found anywhere else, then that’s it. The 3ds will probably only get from capcom what we already saw: 3 exclusive games to get fans of their franchises to buy a new system. Be warned: You buy the console for these games, and heaven help you if you don’t like kid-friendly games like Mario and Zelda, and junk games like Dora’s Magical Birthday Party. Same thing happened with tvc for wii and REmake and RE0 for the gamecube. After those games dropped, nothing (well, nothing GOOD. See cvs2 eo). You get lured in by a couple awesome and exclusive releases…and although they remain a licensee, they make no more games for said system, leaving you with shovelware and kiddyware.
That game has Jack Krauser, it’s already an instant buy. If the customization is deep enough expect to see Krauslento online.
Also Rhio2k that is somewhat true, they produce a few big budget games then release a bunch of “stuff”. For example on GBA and DS, the Megaman EX series or whatever. That and different remakes, Capcom loves remakes.

I still want my RE6 with a BRAND NEW lead or Rebecca as lead. Also, Billy needs to be the mysterious 3rd party kinda like Ada in RE4 and Jill in RE5.
Never understood why Capcom never bother to make a PSP Resident Evil. After the success of RE4, the PSP would have had the perfect setup for controls. Hell they could have just remade RE 1 and 2 “RE4 style” on the PSP. Or port a PSP Outbreak version.
I am still bitter about RE5. It had GOLD all over it, then when you play it, you find out it was just a really sick/bad joke played by Capcom.

seeing as how it is the sixth stand alone resident title why not do it big? Umbrella, thought to be finished is still existent but operates in smaller numbers now has been experimenting with DNA cloning trying to mass produce its tyrant/nemesis army for war. Wesker made a backup program of his memories and ambitions that upload in a host body upon his death, “an insurance plan” as he calls it as well as injecting himself with a more complete progenitor virus and T-Virus (far more developed than the shot he took). The location of this “backup facility” is unknown to the world but BSAA members are sent to different parts of the world to investigate strange activities and investigate the mysterious facilities. However the BSAA will need to recruit new members who have had a previous encounter with umbrella and experience to lead a team of soldiers to these facilities by the recommendations of Chris and Jill. Chris contacts Leon and asks for his personal assistance while stating “its been pretty boring around here so count me in” . He also contacts Claire while stating “one last time sister” and she agrees. Jill contacts former S.T.A.R.S members Rebecca Chambers who has been been practicing medicine and Barry Burton. Burton claims “he’s to old for this but says why the hell not?” Rebecca makes a special request in asking if they can locate a special friend of hers, Billy Coen and explains his case to Jill. Jill reluctantly agrees and finds Coen in a remote part of town in the U.S; when everyone meets up for briefing they are given their assignments and sent off. There is also a brand new female protagonists who works as a solider under Chris’s teams lead claiming that she is the daughter of De chant, the fallen commander from RE5 however she gets separated from her group and runs into Barry who was captured by umbrella officers. characters like Sheva, Josh, Ada, Hunk, etc. make cameo appearances in flashbacks, dialog , and certain files

But it’s not even that cuz RE4 ooooooooooooozed atmosphere so he’s really just asking for a shitty Camera system back and the removal of the ability to aim properly.

Some people liked re when it took 3 damn minutes to pop off headshots cuz you have to fire as the gun comes level with your target as your character sweeps the gun toward the ceiling. Half the horror in the old RE is the shitty controls. I thank re4 and 5 for the greater control and mobility.
