What is the deal with the rotten eggs?
I have just been discarding them, cause you damn sure won’t get anything good from eating them.
What am I missing?
I just fully upgraded the Hydra. Haven’t used it yet but I guess you’ve pushed me into the “Get Infinite Ammo For This Gun First” territory. I already have a couple other infinite weapons but that Hydra sounds amazing.
And you gain points in single player as well at the end of each sub-chapter based on the difficult and rank. **2,000 pts for rank S in Veteran mode. **
Basically once you get the infinite rocket launcher just go here for money. It’s a short stage. The boss is a joke too once you get that mouth open for your RPG. Just pump him full of RPGS!
3-2 is a fun stage for money. A little longer but a challenge for you could just be running through it fast. 4-1 is also good because of the boss carrying the Soul Gem. 5-3 has quite a few lickers too as well as some other bonus opportunities like the Heart of Africa diamond (if you inflict enough damage on Wesker he’ll peace out and leave that behind between the stair cases).
But 5-1 is the fastest stage to run through for money.
Anyone get the ‘Ride The Lightning’ achievement/trophy yet? People aren’t dying from getting hit with the transformer and my guns are all too powerful I think to not obliterate them. Thoughts?

Wait, WHAT?! Oh what the fuck that’s not cool that I did not know that, I’ve been tossing pretty much all eggs I get(or don’t bother picking them up), so this makes me on regretful person right now.

There’s also the achievement for killing an enemy with a rotten egg.
How the hell do you do that???
I know you can throw eggs but they do enough damage to kill anything?
Rotten eggs kill most manjina in one or two hits.
I got the ride the lighntnig a while ago. Just pop em in the leg once or twice when they;'re under generators.
Same for the rotten egg kill.
I was planning on looking into good ways off grinding. I play for awhile today and get all weapons fully upgraded. I barely realised how much time I sank into this game.
Only weapon that doesnt get inf ammo buy buying it is the Rocket Launcher. You have to finish the game in 4 or 5 hours for that. Not sure, but my time when I unlocked it was 3 hours 55 minutes.
You also get an achievement for collecting all four eggs (they can be in your inventory box at the item management screen too). There are white, brown, golden, and rotten eggs.
You could always buy or pickup an un-upgraded weapon just for grabbing that achievement/trophy. Or you could lure the same enemy back and forth past a transformer and keep hitting it again until the enemy does die.
I played through Pro without infinite ammo though. I only used infinite ammo for Normal and Amateur to get through them fast as possible. Inventory was a big deal.
As far as differences go, the only thing I noticed was that enemies seem to attack more frequently, almost everything puts you in “dying” state from a single hit, some enemies seem to have more health, and your “dying” meter depletes in about the same amount of time it takes your character to stand up again after a hit.
Shoot a Majini in the chest twice with an un-upgraded pistol, then throw the egg at them.
My favorite farming spot is 5-3.
First stage: Sapphire(Marquise) - 3,000g
Second stage: Reaper 100% drops, Power Stone. 2-3 reapers spawn - 5,000g/ea. Jewel bangle - 1,000g
NPC is set to open the crates in first, second, and third rooms to collect random gold while I run through the stage.
It takes 3-4 minutes to complete, and earns 160-200k/hr.
I had all my guns upgraded just from the money I earned completing the game on all 4 difficulties. Did y’all really need to farm that much?
Well I only play the story with my brother, and he doesn’t have as much spare time as me. I choose to play it with him though, so when he’s not around all I have is mercenaries, farming and trophies.
Besides, we only made ~150k on our normal playthrough, and I made even less running through amateur for the trophy… I got the all weapons/fully upgraded trophies in about 5-6hrs with that method so it was worth it, I guess. Plus I used to play MMOs so farming is kind of my forte. :wonder:
I dont plan on “farming” until I beat the the game on all 4 difficulties. I dont feel the need to cheat. I will get enough shit to buy more shit anyway.

I threw away all rotten eggs…I had the feeling they are worth something but didnt think its 2k!
So how hard is pro mode using only what the game gives you? Any tips/advice?
