It works. If you want to actually do it then get infinite ammo on a magnum and play with a friend. You can only hit wesker at two different times: When he’s about to attack (counter hit/risky) and when he has his back turned to you. Easiest way to kill him is to get him in the hall way he kicks you through, then when he chases after one of you the other one goes behind him and shoots him with magnum shots until he dies.
When he dies he’ll say “Self righteous fools!”, you’ll get the bad blood achievement, and he’ll start running around like crazy until he gets to the entrance. The heart of africa will be in the middle of the staircase.
What the heck is the Attack Reaction setting when you host a game. I don’t get it.
It’s for if you’re not playing with anyone. Sheva (or Chris if you’re playing as Sheva) will react to your attacks depending on what you do.
In this video, skip to 3:50. You will see the guy putting loads of damage into Wesker which will quickly end the fight.

You really don’t have to have an infinite Magnum. I did it on my first playthrough with a regular ol’ M25. Shoot him twice, when he stumbles to one knee run up and do the punching QTE. Repeat like 5 more times.
Yeah, the best way I have found to get the Heart of Africa gem is just like in that video: Hit him with a rocket, shoot the rocket when he catches it, and unload on him with whatever you have.
I think I got it with one rocket, and a crapload of magnum rounds to the head while he was stunned.
I’ll do it again on Veteran (current play) and see how much it takes. I have rocket launchers to spare.

Nah pretty sure they’re charging for it because Capcom’s excuse is they gave you enough free unlockable fun stuff in the game already.
Then I very probably won’t buy it. Limited movement and stationary aiming is not a fun idea for shooter deathmatch. Although I suppose snipers will be in heaven.
$5 for a versus mode.
Meh, I have ZERO interest in playing like that, but $5 seems reasonable, imho.

A spinoff where you play as Jill under Wesker’s control would be AMAZING.
I wouldnt mind a horde mode type game play with enemies from prior games.(no time limit) Some new stages for mercs and Frank west as a dlc character.:lovin:
Yeah, I’m not too excited about the deathmatch part… But the see who can kill the most zombies part seems fun.
I know that in MvC at least one resident evil character was present (jill?)…
…but what I want is a full blown fighter from Capcom, with JUST the cast of the RE games.
Hell, they could just take the SF4 engine and throw a cast of RE characters in it, and I would buy it in a freaking heartbeat.

Shoot the rocket when he catches it? I haven’t gotten to that part yet, but that’s awesome. I would hope after all the videos Wesker has watched of his precious Tyrant’s being rocketed to death that he wouldn’t let that happen to him.
