New protagonist in the next RE please.

At work today, I was saying Leon was cool because he was a redhead. Then my co-workers were like “No he isn’t.” Then I was like wtf no.

Then I found an article describing the de-gingerfication of Leon as the series progressed and he became more bad ass.

Remember when Resident Evil 5 was so bad until Resident Evil 6 came out?
Wow, sounds great. I remember the day my friend came over and we completed this on all difficulties (I’m assuming he didn’t like the AI). The gameplay was great and you definitely need another player to enjoy this but I dislike how it didn’t stay true to the name. I miss upgrading my guns (one of the things I didn’t like from RE6).
I would SERIOUSLY like to know why you think GTA is ass.
Fun fact. In RE2 after beating tofu’s survivor mode, Hunk fucking eats him. Cuts him up and makes a soup out of him. Tofu is so badass, that he killed BOWs with a knife and Hunk just makes a hotpot out of him for his helicopter ride out. That’s stone cold.
HUNK is top tier in RE4 MERCs mode in the village level(1st level.) I rake in over a 100K each time I play as him in that level, his weapons+melee > that entire MERCs level. Snaps the necks of the chainsaw bitches so free, whereas other characters typically have to spend a bit of time to take them out, HUNK can just headshot them to stagger —> Neckbreaker.
Most people who say “RE2/4” are the best are people who haven’t played any other RE game. If you asked me, the best RE game to date is the REmake. I STILL think those updated graphics for the REmake look great. and with all the added content and new enemies that fit so perfectly well into the story ( example:regular zombie mutates into crimson heads who further mutates into lickers) I just can’t see how that isn’t considered one of the best if not THE best RE game to date. If capcom ever decided to release a HD version of that game for the ps3 I would buy it 7 times.
I always think its funny when people make claims like “people whose favorite game isnt the same as my favorite one just havent played it.” Yea dude thats it alright.
Both Resident Evil 2/4 outsold REmake by a large margin, not to mention REmake is STILL a GameCube exclusive while both 2/4 have been released on almost every major console to date AND on the PC… So yeah, I think that it is safe to say that a good portion of people who played 2/4, still hasn’t played REmake.
I think enough people didn’t play the game. I still haven’t played REmake. Most of what I know about it are from fan pages and youtube walkthoughs
Man if you have A Wii or GameCube, find the game and play it. If you enjoy old school RE you’ll love this game.

I remember really really liking REmake and thinking it was awesome, but dying a little inside when they took out the “Jill sandwich” and “master of unlocking” comments, even knowing how awful they were.
Most=/=All. And even then I wasn’t singling any of you guys out.

4 definitely had it’s moments, but most of the time it didn’t have that horror vibe going on for it. I’ll tell you this though, the scariest part in Resident Evil 4 deals either with Regenerador or this guy…
Sadly I sold my Wii to a friend of mine. Unless Capcom makes an HD port I might have to go with Dolphin if I want to play it

RE4 never scared me, but it was good at building feelings of tension with the help of its atmosphere at times. When the Alien Terminator gets sent after you, being surrounded in the village, 1st Regenerator encounter before you know how to deal with them, the village at night where it’s raining with lightning assist+the gleaming red eyes of the enemies, stuff like that.
That first Crimson Head in the hall scared the shit outta me in Remake. Also Lisa. Everything Lisa.
