MvC3 even though rushed implemented the Capcom roster surprisingly well. It does run on the RE5 engine.

sf2 is by far the game that made capcom what it was yesterday.
those sf2 numbers for sfc dont mean shit. you gotta add how many arcade cabs were equiped with that game and just how much money and fame capcom made off of it. re is shit compared to sf. without sf capcom would be just a company, instead of that company. it was the game that made me love and hate capcom at the same time (i loved them when sf2 came out, i said fuck em when they pushed put the 5th or so sf2 game and snk actually started making great fighters, ffs, ss2, kof etc).
re5 being their best selling one makes sense, it came out on the big systems at the same time with people still having it fresh in their memmories how good re4 was. needles to say, re5 was shit compared to 4, 6 went even more downhill than 5. re4 was the last good re title ive played. every re game since then is not worth it so fuck this series as a whole. it was never great to begin with, just good. fuck the numbers of no skill having people who suck at games buying a shitton of these titles. thats like saying cod or gta is the best game out there because it sells, cod is still pretty decent for a fps, gta is ass. anybody that thinks gta is any good is ass.

I would have rather had Barry or Krauser. Barry is a true family man that headbutts motherfuckers all day, and Krauser would have been interesting because he could have been a close-ranged character with no projectiles+Las Plagas install super shenanigans or something. Sheva or Leon would have probably gotten implemented into MVC3 like Chris, as projectile heavy chars. Which would suck.
Jill’s secret top tier in the MVC3 series, but no one uses her because she actually takes a bit of effort, execution and skill to play well. She has nigh-instant overheads/crossup overheads that are extremely hard to react to, she’s even faster than chars like Wesker and has more priority. I know first-hand because I used to play against @Yeahd00d120% back when I actively used to play MVC3 before its silly mechanics and sub-systems forced me back to oldschool FG’s where people don’t get rewarded for consistently doing dumb shit.
