Finally got c.MP to LP/HP hands down, having never played a piano type character, it was difficult!
c.MP~LP~HP~MP~LP. Roll your fingers, if you do it semi fast you will cancel c.mp into lp hands and it wont be a combo, good way to get used to it till u can do it fast enough.
c.MP~LP~HP~LP~HP~LP~HP. Same as LP hands except spam the crap out of LP~HP rolls. Really easy to get this version for me.
Next step is c.mk into LP/HP hands!

you can raw j.hk to u2 or stinger. the short charge times on them give you plenty of time to hit it. this is great in the situations where you get that far jump roundhouse and you don’t really have great options other than st.hp/hk
mp to light hands has never really been my issue. i got it after the first hour of so and it’s actually really easy on pad. cr.mk to light hands is the one that i can’t get constantly…but i always get some form of hands (usually ex which i think is safe on block anyways). on my ps3 pad I’ve mapped jab to L1, so i get both cr.lp and cr.mk together. i’m considering a different mapping but i’m not sure what to use yet.
to do cr.lp, cr.mp, hands i input - cr.lp - cr.mp/hp - cr.mp/hp - cr.lp. got this down to about 90% consistency now. mk.version i get a lot of cr. hp’s instead, but it works sometimes. at least cr.hp is safe or that would be a nightmare (wait for the balance patch lol)
hands seems pretty hard to punish anyways, but i’ve tested it and decapre’s ultra 2 punishes hard hands on block 100%, so i think it’s important for me to find a way to consistently do light hands from a cr.mk so i can use it in footsies. i’m guessing that this will be a must have tool against top level opposition. yes mp to hands is nice but you’re really supposed to use the cr,mk one because of the extra range. another reason why lp hands is very important is because you can frame trap them with a psycho sting afterwards.
p.s - not sure if blocked mp.hands is punishable but i’m guessing it is. (edit yes it is - ryu can punish it with pretty much anything)
didn’t realise this - you can do sting, fadc, hands. been trying to find something you can do with it (i imagine that there is something when near the corner). seems pretty pointless though as you only get 1 hit of hands. maybe desk will find a use hehe.
can you do sting, fadc backlash, ia drill? i haven’t been able to pull it off yet but i’m guessing maybe you can. or would it not allow the hit anyway?
Few things I’ve tried to learn for Decapre that I’m still trying to figure out.
I’m trying to find U2 combo links and only thing I’ve found is EX ground pound into U2. Can it be done through crossup as well and is there any U2 setups? Target combo seems to work as well but am I supposed to be holding the back charge, down charge or both to hit the U2?
Secondly, Is there any confirm into red focus? All of her hands don’t seem to have enough hit stun for me to hit in a combo.
you need to hold the charge until they’ve dropped to the point it almost doesn’t look like you’ll make it in time and then you’ll have enough charge for the anti air ultra. it’s quite hard to explain but theres definitely a specific height you have to wait for. you’ll get it once you’ve done it enough times. i keep doing it too quickly myself too. i think grounded ultra 2 needs less charge than anti air ultra 2, so i accidentally get the ground one quite a bit.
yes you can do it after a crossup ground pound.
ex hands is the only red focus cancel i know about as i’ve seen j.wong do it (there are probably more). i haven’t tried to pull that one off yet…would need to see the video again for the timing.
red focus seems to be basically pointless with her unless you are going to whiff punish with cr.mk xx hands and the followup will kill. It’s not a huge buff for hit confirms at all.
2nd to last hit of all normal hands works for rfc. haven’t checked ex.
