Why the focus crumple, you can do these already without it?

Found a nice little combo if it hasnt been said already jump hp close hp cr mp rszor edge does 323 damage without jhp its 229
Just found another jhp cl hp cr mp sting fadc air throw that does 443 damage
Not sure if it’s added or not but,
1: You can grab after the fire ball ultra, can be used after a focus attack and does more damage than the other ultra
2: easiest thing to mix up that can work with jumping light kick, clk, clp, clk, uppercut
The uppercut and flying to slamming move can be focus dash cancelled and you can grab
You can also just go for: medium punch to heavy kick combination move. able to jump right away and grab in the air
Does more damage than typical poke combos. The crouching light kick is if you want a higher chance of landing.
to do hands from cr. mp, you can try plinking mp fast twice and then the appropiate strength. for example mp~lp, then quickly mp~lp again, then quickly hp for cr.mp to hp hands. even if you space the plink incorrectly there will still be four inputs prior to the chosen strength so it will work either way. unless of course you mess up completely and only get the two simultaneous inputs, without the single input preceeding

Although its not entirely an impressive combo, you can do (in the corner):
ex break, mp stinger, ex stinger… for 2 meters it does 430 damage and 500ish stun, pretty dumb if you land an ex smash while in the corner lol
or if you do 2x ex stinger for 3 meters its 449 and 520ish stun?
It’s a lot of damage for something incredibly easy heh

Does Gen ever have a reason to use hands other than Fierce and Ex though? I still have the muscle memory from learning Gen’s Forward xx Fierce Hands in Vanilla, but I still can’t do jab hands with the consistency I’d like to
Using slide to perform cr.MK xx LP Dagger is somewhat easy to do, altough is weird since I’m Blanka player and most of the time I’m slidding to do HP or EX electricity and I’ve arranged my buttons to make those slides easier

Gen can get a 1 frame link off of deep mp.hands on a few characters—I know it works on Deejay, but not sure of others. I never really used it that much; it can lead to some hand loops but the damage isn’t really worth it for the execution required.
Side note: has anyone found a good use for mp or hp hands with Decapre? Maybe for character specific combos? I feel that lp hands can be used in their place pretty much all the time and if we get a hit confirm, just go into stinger or slide.
HP hands is the best meterless combo ender you have if you don’t have charge (walk jabs, crMK HP hands)
Cool, that makes sense. Will have to incorporate walk jab pressure and mix it up with s.mp frametrap. As a Vega main, I never get to do shit like that! Unless of course you count standing lk pressure, which isn’t really the same nor nearly as good.
I never really find myself without charge with Decapre, she seems to charge pretty fast, I can walk up cr.lk, cr.lp, cr.mp into any ender.
yeah but there will be times when range is an issue, making your string cut down to something like crLP crMK, and if you do that from walk forward you won’t have charge. this is all from walking forward of course
you can walk cr.lp, cr.hp, stinger on many cases too
Hm… seems like it would be too risky to walk up cr.lp, cr.hp, stinger without 2 bars to fadc stinger since cr.hp can be punished hard on block. Unless of course you can walk up and hit confirm cr.lp, cl.mp, cr.hp, stinger… dunno if that’s possible.
ex GP-> hp Stinger->DCM works just like the version with the mp stinger and probably with the lp stinger too, all are really hard to hit for me.
cr.hp is on 0 on block, you can’t be punished for doing it.
and when talking about punishes you “cant” be punished as we are assuming the opponet is open for being actually punished
cl.hp bnb are in this category as well
