"Removed!" - The Decapre Combo Thread

Decapre has some really easy setups for getting her far st.lp to hit meaty. This lets you do cool stuff like link u2 and far st.rh.

On makoto you can do a really early j.fp, cr.mp cr.lk st.lp U2. The cr.mp doesn’t work on Ryu, but you can do cr.lk x3 into st.lp, if I recall correctly.
Into U2 does about 300ish (I think) if you don’t have W Ultra.

You can perform her anti-air ultra off of her mp>hk target combo. It’s a bit tight, but it’s def do able.

Lvl 3 focus crumple, scramble hp break, ultra 2 468 damage works anywhere

Lvl 3 focus crumple, ex scramble hp break, mp stinger, ultra 2 523 damage works anywhere

Low forward xx hp hands xx rfa(2nd to last hit) close hp, cr. Mp xx hp stinger 349 damage. U can do scramble h break then Air grab instead after rfa for a hard knockdown for 335 damage

I repeat. Can you cancel cr.HP to special moves? Because I can’t get it to cancel

No, you cannot cancel cr.HP, but you can link a stinger off of it.

i can get some form of rapid dagger whenever i want to now but i have no consistency over which version i’m getting. can get them from mk footsies too but i’m usually getting ex. i’d love to be able to do cr.mk to the light version on a consistent basis. this is the only thing i’m having problems with execution wise now. i’m landing other stuff i couldn’t get near doing yesterday.

That’s a great combo. I haven’t tried it on the entire cast but it has worked against everyone i’ve tested except Decepre herself (stinger whiffs). It does work against cammy though

For me c.mk into lp hands is easier with slide method. Just lp+mk and slide your index all the way to hp and back to lp.

The DCM ultra is so good, you have so many ways to combo into it, the hit confirm is easy; once you see the dude it the air then you put in the DCM motion, but you gotta do it hella quick.

regular or ex GNP ->DCM
mp->hk->DCM
jHP->mp->hk->DCM

I am not sure if straight up DP (non AA, non counter hit) ->DCM is possible, it might be but the timing will be really really tight, i have not been able to hit it yet.
I did an EX GNP->mp DP->DCM, that was pretty tough

My biggest problem is sometimes triggering the ground DCM instead of the air one.

Logically there is no way she has enough time to charge the DCM, but it works.

Two questions, perhaps I missed something.

  1. I’m finding cl.HP>cr.MP > hands much easier than cr.MK. Is there a reason why cr.MK is preferred?
  2. Is there a list of the ways we can combo into U2? Would be good to have all ways added to one place.

Cr.mk has slightly more range than cr.mp I believe? But I’m with you on this, it probably should be cr.mp instead of cr.mk.
