Ok for some reason it’s not letting me edit my post, but what I meant is it’s the only normal that HITS on the red focus cancel, the rest of the normals can be blocked but you can combo this one
That seems rather dubious, but I don’t have access to my console to test. I’ve gotten cr.mk RFC more than enough to know that it’s RFCable as well at the very least.
Or do you mean that’s the only normal that combos into RFC? It’s long hitstun was known since it’s her only normal that combos into EX RES.
Anyways, the only way I see it being useful is to end a round with a Scramble - Break combo. Any other time, I’d rather save the meter.
the thing is though if you just land a raw j.hp your opponent is probably stunned so why not just do jumpin to naked u2?
in the event you land a crossup it’s nice, but it’s a pretty tough confirm off of a raw j.lk, and cr.lp, cl.mp doesn’t always work and scales the whole thing a lot.
hmm ok cool good to know I was trying it off of hands, red focus and couldn’t get it to hit back when ultra dropped so just assumed it didn’t work, and also just a straight up crumple in a match and it whiffed (hell it even went straight through ken’s back dash)
IMO U1 is the best choice in most matchups though. The only time I’d take U2 is against projectile reliant characters and even then it’s a tough choice.
I pick ultra 1 almost every time since her light kick slide seems like a good enough counter against fireballs. In fact some people seem to think that it’s safe to throw fireballs at you just because you didn’t pick ultra 2.
Didn’t see this in the lists: off of EX ground pound in the corner, you can juggle a meaty Sting (any version), into an MP or EX Sting. Best for after focus crumple in the corner, LP Sting is most lenient, HP sting is optimal damage.
