Was wondering why the data said 2f yet the thing couldn’t do much in the way of conventional punishes. I guess super does have some utility. Might have to try to save if it I can resist the siren call of sweet, sweet ex moves.

Hit confirming Super from hands is really easy, but saving bar for Stinger xx FADC is very useful for Decapre, you’re pretty much safe on block and get extra damage on hit with air throw, so it’s a win-win for Decapre, unlike most characters after DP xx FADC without Revenge Meter.

i assumed sting fadc forward is -5 on block is this not true

i tried to see if hit/block were confirmable so you could hold focus attack, but i couldn’t confirm hit to dash airthrow and block to hold

Is that confirmed? I didn’t tought she would be on the list of characters with -5 after DP FADC… playing online, at least now in the beginning of Ultra, being -5 is not really that bad… most people aren’t used to punish DP FADC yet, so it’s hard to react to it

i was able to punish with ryu cr.mp on ex fadc forward.

It’s “not that bad now” but I’m already punishing people for fadc forward and I assume that will become more common over time

And i guess there is no way to get additional damage from stinger > fadc > backdash?!

I found one combo, don’t know if character specific (work on Ryu, Poison, and mid to large characters)

(jump in with whatever) cr lp - cr hp - cr lk xx stinger (FADC to throw if have meters)

also found this set up on standing opponent

cr lp - cr lp - st lk - hk scramble cannon strike (delay cannon strike as late as possible). Cannon strike becomes cross up. It is risky if they blocked, though.

So I’ve been going to work on figuring out which combos do the most damage in certain situation (after Jumping HP, Focus Attack or Red Focus Attack)­… I find these in particular helpful for dishing out maximum damage after a dizzy

I just upped a screenshot of the MS Word doc I’ve been putting this into, since it’s far more organized and easier to read… too bad this website doesn’t support tables :frowning:

  • All combos that use the Ultra show: Solo Ultra Damage / W Ultra Damage
  • Ultra combos listed with maximum possible damage
  • Highlighted combos have 1 frame links or tight timing for getting off the Ultra
  • All Focus Attack combos are require dashing forward after the Focus Attack hits
  • Focus Attack & Red Focus Attack combos have the lvl 3 damage listed, but can be done with lvl 2 attacks as well (but do less damage and are more difficult to time)
