You’ll need to buy a Super Turbo arcade cabinet for about $1000, and then obtain a game rip from this for your computer. The Supercade forums are quite helpful on how to do this.

For some reason recently, i cannot connect to some friends. Anyone have problems with this? I suspect it is people using the steam platform just cannot connect to me. Note that im running the cracked SF4-Reloaded from piratebay that came out when the game was just released. I do have the original copy tho…

Hey I’m relatively new to the forum and I play the PC version, and this is about the closest thing I can find to a thread to meet new friends. I like to friend people and talk over the mic. I’m nothing special just yet. I got the game late in January, so I’m still fairly fresh. My BP currently hovers around 1000-1500 and I’m slowly making the switch to a stick from the keyboard.
I could really use some friendly player matches for stick practice!

they talked about AE not super, in fact is more easy release AE from arcade to PC than make a version of super.

Also adding “SonnentauRacker” a German Guile player, defensive (Most Guiles are, eh?) but isn’t one of those sweep spammers, nailed me with a tonne of no-nonsense combos and really does a solid job and is also a very friendly bloke to talk to.
Just had a 12-Game session with a German player tagged “VaporingRapier9”, solid Ken who has some decent combos down. Relies a bit on predictable methods but far better than your average up and coming SRK mashing Ken for sure, with a solid connection Ireland>Germany. Added to the list.

Another big GG’s to Briangarfield, loving the combos - No idea who’s connection was at fault but the lag really didn’t do our set justice, didn’t have this problem last time so hopefully next time it’ll all be better.
Ugh just had my ass absolutely dished out to me by “Caliagent3”, US player (Suprisingly stable connection bar the odd mini-lag) disgusting Cammy, problem is I know what I was doing wrong but just wouldn’t fix it even after a 31-14 loss spree where I only got 2-3 wins against the Cammy and the rest vs his Ryu and Gief.
Would thoroughly recommend anyone who thinks they are anyone to find and challenge this player, really made me feel totally useless and had me running scared… In a matchup that favours Balrog :wasted:
I faced this man, intense player. Not many can completely obliterated my Bison. I faced his Ryu and we were trading blows, He switch to gief and I dominated those. Then when his cammy came up I just completely lost. We were facing in rank for a really long time, he put my alt down from 4200 BP to 3000 BP, intense player. May I add , he does frame traps to catch grab smashers. I also remember seeing counterhit ultras, which was just baffling to me, sheer reaction was godlike.
I hear you man - What was catching me was a) He would do very high cannon spikes (Aerial) and because Balrog has a funky hitbox, it would hit at the front but land behind you, this makes it so godawful to block/react to and 9/10 times I was eating full combo’s from blocked CSpikes into Spiral Arrow combos and b) For some unknown reason he was catching me with Hooligan throws even when I was downback (Normally Cammy can’t grab you with it when you’re crouching) and I just couldn’t understand why…
Ultimately just a far superior player styling on me so I was just happy to claw out a few wins against the Cammy. His Ryu wasn’t the best but very very patient and this ruined me a lot considering most Ryu’s in typical GFWL are reckless mashers or, at best, somewhat predictable. Overall I was frustrated for losing so much but I still want to play more to learn from him - There’s not many out there who got such a hugely consistant winstreak on me and when that happens it’s a much needed eye opener.
It’s not that I’m good, it’s that competition on GFWL is hard to find for midlevel looking to get better and this is why this thread exists, so people can find competition for whatever level (or against any character [or based on what region]) that suits their needs, so I’ve happily added him to the US list and thanks for confirming his skill.
Oh and for the record, seen your name crop up a lot on SF4 but, sadly, seems to be 1-2 bars at best so I’ve not really had a chance to face you which is a shame.
