i cant bro they are too big and thug
Can’t help you then.
Buff fireballs and AA’s, make jumps have a smaller arc. People will jump much less.
Does that mean this game will die soon? I hope so.
Oh so it’s a glitch. That’s not a problem with hitstun or juggling in the engine, that’s a glitch that’s more than likely getting patched out soon. It’s also not an air-to-air counterhit, and it’s a fairly difficult scenario to recreate. I’m missing your point here.
Like really, you couldn’t tell that was a glitch? How can you use that to complain about the juggling and hitstun?
By the way, such intelligent discourse here. Yeah, I should have stayed done. I’m done now, you can have the “last word” or whatever you want, I’m going back to playing some games.
This. OMG THIS… Best idea I have ever read.
The real change that needs the game is not on gameplay mechanics, is on people’s mentality: stop taking this game too seriously.
The majority of changes that people want in this thread don’t want to improve SFxT, they just want to recreate Marvel/Alpha series/CvS2.
SRK Forums tell me…no.
I think glitches are fun as long as they aren’t super easy to enact.
Main problem with this game is it just reminds me of a watered down version of Alpha 1 with a tag system. Doesn’t bring enough new stuff for me to care and the it’s got that new SF game slow walk speed, shitty throws and camera shifting that I don’t like (camera shakes left and right randomly just because you’re walking across the stage).
I like crazy shit so Ultimate is always down for me and Skullgirls…oh man.
Necessary:
- Optional use of Gems online
- Temporarily stop the time during Supers and Cross Arts
- Throws bypass tech rolls
- Slightly shorter stages
- Slight balance adjustments: Buff Yoshi…
- Make it so that the character switching out is vulnerable to throws OR CROSS arts.
- Add Stun Meters
- A slightly better hit-box priority on normal moves
Optional:
- Two or three more stages
- Adjustable soundtracks
- Allow 1v1 Matches
- Add Guard Meters
- Add two more bosses (Examples: Q and Unknown (with the Wolf Spirit)… Depending on the first character the player chooses AND depending on which standards they meet they can fight the Akuma, Ogre, Q, or Unknown. Hell, it could be made possible to fight two of them in one Arcade play through (After the fourth round you either face Q or Unknown). The last opponents will probably be Akuma or Ogre. Something…
- Bonus Rounds Gamble, Destroy the Car, Crush Barrels, Use Cross/Alpha Counters, Crush a Nancy Robot
- Pandora also allows characters to cancel special moves into ONE more special move. After the first time, doing this will not be possible until the second special move is finished. A similar concept to KOF XIII or KOF02UM.
Yes it is, what are you talking about? That’s the textbook definition of a glitch. How self-righteous are you anyways? It’s a problem with the juggling system, one that isn’t hard to recreate since it’s happened to me on multiple occasions, and given that Capcom has had issues fixing glitches like this(see: Haggar/Spencer DHC glitch that was still doable even after it was patched out) it’s reasonable to assume that the issue lies with the game’s engine itself.
Listen, I’m far from the only person who has a problem with the game, half the registered members on this site seem to have many issues with it. People all over are discovering stuff that makes them hate this game, high-level play is revolving around landing frame traps into practical infinites. You’re telling me these are hallmarks of a good fighter? Why don’t you go after their complaints and tell them how wrong they are for not liking how buggy and stupid this game is? This stopped being intelligent discourse the instant you replied with “stopped reading there” and has since been descending into a black hole caused by your stupidity.
Since I get the last word I’ll make it count. This game sucks and you’re an incrediblly massive and stupid asshole, those are facts, not opinions. I got more people that can vouch for me on the game being garbage.
Guys…I just came up with these really awesome ways to fix the issues you are all having with this game:
- Sell it if you don’t like it.
- Learn to play.
- If you want it to be more like {insert game that already exists that you like a lot more than this one}, keep playing that game.
- Wait longer than 1 week before assuming all possible strategies have been explored and implemented.
- Quit bitching about it.
I heard some pros saying the game is bad. PRBalrog for example.
Id like the big fight logo at the start of the round to go away before the match starts, its fun to jump behind the logo and wonder whats gonna happen, it stays on screen 2 seconds to long, fix the random input problems on diagonals, patch the sound for online, give the game real property’s, In this game you can jump into supers mashing or jabb out of a combo or mash for a trade…everything counters each other ,its fucking weird and if you land in a super and the time runs out ,it keeps going and finishes and you take all the damage…patch infinites…just basic fix the game patches used when a game is rushed to make street date
I’ve heard this as well. No one is happy about the bugs and glitches. What I haven’t heard anyone complain about is the actual system.
This is probably because it’s new and has yet to be fully explored so any complaining would just end up making you look like a complete idiot.
You know what would be hilarious? If in a few weeks we found out that charge cancel pressure was so amazing that everyone forgot about “lp, lp, lp, crossover”.
Game is Godlike.
Why is it that we have to wait to discover these things? Does a “pro” have to execute something or give a nod of approval before everyone starts trying to copy?
Like I have said in previous posts… I want to like this game, I want it to work out… But right now I am just not feeling it… It does not flow… It feels… Forced?
Also, what are peoples feelings about once the first character is ko it’s round over? Think that if both characters needed to be ko’ed it would make a better fit? Surprisingly this is a topic I have not heard anything about.
The biggest thing for me is to make it possible for me to play without gems online (as I understand it this is not currently possible, someone correct me if I’m wrong). This is much worse than any system flaw IMO as it prevents anyone who doesn’t have a strong local scene from playing competitively, and it’s why I personally won’t be buying SFxT. I’m not going to drop money on a game where my main source of practice could involve opponents using autoblock gems.
