that’s hasn’t anything to do with partition, is just tight charge buffering (though i find that combo to be harder than many partitions)
but all of those three use the dash into headbutt partition in their game.
Also, for Ushi reference, Kyushu taikai is really old. SBO’06 is where his technique got a boost (not that he sucked in KT of course)

Partition is an extremely limited, and therefore unnecessary, part of Urien’s overall game. You might have noticed in recent years, that most Urien players (including God of Urien, RX) opt for a corner mixup rather than a midscreener (the only real place where a partition is necessary) when the opportunity is presented. It is generally much safer and even has a higher damage potential.
Partition is mainly just a gimmick that players throw out once in a while to hope it hits (with possible hugeass reward), or to just straight up look cool.
and yes, actually, tackle tackle headbutt IS a partition, albeit an “automatic” one (the reason the headbutt comes out is because as you hold d/b for the tackles, it helps to add up charge for the headbutt as well, and you coincidentally gather just enough charge for it after two tackles). It is vaguely mentioned in the first post.
@hol horse>> yeah! tackle 2x is buffering but its one of the hardest trick of urien, partitioning is easier, and some buffering are mixedup with partitions… sorry for ushi i havent wacth the complete sbo’06. i just refer to my memories for these players.

Yeah, I know, dumb question… but when I try the shoto unblockable, whiffing tackle and doing a kneedrop, he is too big, and I can’t cross up with the knee. Just curiosity.

for your first aegis, dont lay it down that deep into the corner, an lp reflector would have let you gotten more pressure off, and still lead into a combo.
dont use cr.HP ex headbutt, headbutt unless it will bring them really close to stun, waste of meter for minimal damage, you would have had another aegis right off the bat for round 2.
in the second set, round 2, you could have comboed off a meaty to get in a reflector when you barely had enough meter, you were risking a lot by not winning that round right there.
why’d you end set 2 with an ex tackle?
set 3 round 1, why didnt you do a full tackle juggle, you could have gotten 3 tackles EASY.
set 3 round 3, again, you dont capitalize off a VERY VERY HIGH sphere in the corner.
in general you cant seem to capitalize off hits, even blatantly obvious ones, your combos are weak as hell.
your normal game is alright but i dont see OSs anywhere and you pretty much let yourself get hit by shit that would not fly against better opponents. using MK/HK tackles like that will get you slaughtered.

i have a timing question on the corner unblockable… for characters that you use the knee drop or empty jump to push back to the corner after a tackle xx aegis, do you do jump/knee drop as soon as you recover, or is there specific timing? because i have trouble withe knee drop, and never get the empty jump right.
everyone’s timing is different watch the wanted vids to see how rx times it some it just dash kneedrop some is dash cr.mk kneedrop etc

heh i saw a couple of my youtube set ups used btw on the first combo on remy i found out by accident actually, if you do st.strong,rh kneedrop you don’t have to time it the strong makes sure the rh always brings them back i’ve been to lazy to remake the vid though

so i finally stopped being lazy and learned the dash shoulder under unblockable i got it so-so on the right side, well enough to try it in a match, but i’m pretty hopeless on the left side atm
anyway i’m having trouble with the alex one dash up st.strong,rh shoulder, i never get the shoulder to come out though i’m sure i’m charging the same, is there any common mistake people make trying to do this one i should know about, sorry if its already been talked about, but as you all know srk search isn’t the best, and i didn’t feel like reading 12 pages worth of stuff tonight
Charge a little less, because you’re stuck there for a little longer than usual after the standing strong hits.
