thats actually backwards
Actually I feel that there are both types of people in both communities.
Black people tho…:looney:
Yeah, let’s make 70,000 people wait a few months for better netcode, because LeRaldo is ok with it!
Grow up, kid.
I did that last night too. i was thinking they secretly updated it while i was playing online
Man, what the hell is going on in here?
First it was SFIV vs BB netcode. Then some random “if you’re playing on the PS3, your opinion doesn’t count” bullshit. And now Capcom vs SNK fans (god I miss that game).
Bottom line is, anything that’s up to par with SFIV or BB is a HUGE leap forward than the shit that KOFXII has right now.
It doesnt count towards my experience since I play the game on 360. Anyways, its a known fact you get better connections on 360.
That’s matter of opinion. The quality of the connection is dependent on the developer. As far as the tools (voice chat, etc.), 360 does have the upper hand.
Im talking about SF4, not future games. Its a known fact that PSN isnt on par with XBL. The fact that everyone is on Wifi is another notch against it.
Mmmmm. The only thing I really had to knock on the PS3 version was the search option. Compared to the 360 it didn’t work so well. But as for connection speeds, I had even matches all around with both systems (at the time) in terms of connection speeds. I don’t do wireless with my gaming.
Edit: I think it boils down on the user end of thing and the distance of the players. I do agree 360 has the edge with online but it isn’t leaps and bounds better.
You dont do wireless with your gaming but a lot of others do and that affects both ends. Its something that happens across the board when this issue comes up. It isnt leaps and bounds better but people are experience different things. I for myself have experience really good netcode with SF4 on 360. While all i see are PS3 players putting it down.
Are you serious?
True that. Hey, we didn’t start a flame console war!
lol, so your explanation is fanboyism towards the consoles, give me a break, only cuz you paid for your shitty xbox live doesnt mean that its better, also, i play in both and im telling you the sf4 netcode is equally shitty on xbox 360 than ps3, and im gonna say that worst, cuz you are paying $12 monthly for a shitty experience
lol, its really impressive how do you fool yourself, only cuz you pay for the online
Im paying $12 monthly for XBL? Lets not talk about fanboyism, you dont even have your facts straight. I paid $50 for the year, thats 13 cents a day which comes out to around $4 a month. I have played on both and from my experience 360 has better overall connections. Just looking on these forums, most people experiencing shit connections are on PS3. Even KOF12 has better connections on 360. Shane bettenhausen has gone on record stating that the 360 version performs better than the PS3 version online. This has nothing to do with PS3 vs 360, and has everything to do with what is the better service. Facts are facts.
Only thing thats impressive is how you ignore the facts. Im really not trying to start no flame war, im just stating the facts. Not my fault you are butthurt over it.
yeah butthurt, after wasting my money on 2 360 who failed in less than a year, its not butthurt, is reallity, also i said it earlier, the experience on sf4 it was the same shit on both consoles, from bearable to shitty
lets stop it here, cuz no one would accept the other point of view, based on our personal experiences, you say that you have a solid connection, i said that i have a regular to shitty one, and both are actual facts
Why does a short time frame matter? The people worth a shit will still pick up the game if the netcode gets good, no matter how long it takes.
and lol @ 70k people
I really don’t understand why people argue about this kind of stuff. The only thing that influenced my decision on PSN vs XBLA was that PSN was free. As I would not want to be shelling out 50 bucks a year so I can call someone a noob on XBLA like a nerd, the PS3 was the perfect choice for me. I have had no problem finding lag free matches on SF4 and BlazBlue plays like a dream (and yes this is all on my wifi.) And I can still put on a headset and call somebody a noob if I so desire (not that I would). All for free.
and at the end of the day, when a game like king of fighters comes along with a not so good netcode, you still have to pay your xbox live subscription fee. Its as simple as that for me. Not worth the subscription IMO. if someone sees something in XBLA worth paying for, then more power to them and their wallet. but why argue over it?
Now thats a different subject.
Fair enough.
Let me correct myself, I consider SF4 the best console netcode other than HDR. I didn’t consider it since it’s DLC.
I have honestly had times in BB where I can’t find a match at all, or it keeps matching me against the same person, literally 5 or more times in a row.
I’ve NEVER not been able to find a game in SF4.
Of COURSE there are going to be laggy matches if you pick people with lower bars, thats why they have a system like that, but at 3 or more bars, I feel little to no input lag. Perhaps professional players who have been playing SF4 since arcade release can sense a bit of input lag, but as a normal player (I don’t believe I suck, I did okay at AI the few times I went) I can’t sense it at all.
As far as I can see, the people who complain about SF4 netcode are either using it as an excuse because they lose online, or are just those people who love to downtalk things.
And yay! I’m negative rep now because of this thread! Fun times!
That’s not netcode.
