Replace the made up company “Telco” with your internet service provider, e.g. Comcast, Time Warning, Verizon.
Go look for alternatives right now. See if you can find one that is fast enough to stream video (5 Mega bits per second or higher)
Where I’m from, there’s Comcast or ISPs that can’t stream video. There are no alternatives to the major internet service providers in almost the entire U.S., if you want to stream video.

Then there’s also a strange line of thought that the FCC and “the government” will censor the internet, where as they think ISPs won’t.
Given the Supreme Court decision and subsequent reclassifying ISPs under Title II, the FCC guaranteed the authority to enforce net neutrality. They have no rights to censor anything on land lines. They do have the rights to censor content on “over the air” broadcasters:
