Rage quit hell exist in ultimate?

Your kind is becoming way too confident. How dare you post in the thread designed to make fun of you.

Jeeze.

Mad Gear members.

I am not confident at all man, I get really discouraged when I don’t know why I’m losing. When I know why, and I’m just failing to deal with it, that’s another issue. But like as a new player to UMvC3 I just die to dumb repeated spam of Strider’s teleport divekick, it’s a waste of my time and the other dude’s, it’s faster for me to learn by goign and reading about that move and its weaknesses than to just die to it 3 games in a row

I’m a Dan player and I’ve rage quitted, once.
I was fighting a Ryu and after I beat him the first round, the he hadoken’d the entire match.
I was pretty new and I hate fighting players with no brains so I quit the match. That was the last time I rage quit.
Whenever I run into spammers now I just give them the match; it saves me time because in the end I gain nothing by defeating a fraud.

Just quit after the match. Rage quitting is never okay (save maybe if the lag is unbearable, and neither of you have actually started yet).

Wow, that’s just sad. You’re actually saving your opponents time in this case. Please tell me you’re not east coast and/or on PSN.

I am making a concerted effort to correct my ways

I thought the skull icon was an indicator of a bad connection. Am I wrong or does ragequitting count as disconnecting, and disconnecting = bad connection?

A fraud? As opposed to what? Someone who stops throwing projectiles and allows you to come within distance to initiate your offense? Talk about fighting game players with no brains; that’s the stupidest thing any genuine player could do.

A fraud who thinks SF is DBZ as opposed to a player who uses their brains.
You definetely misunderstood me, how can I play a Ryu or Sagat and expect him not to zone me, that’s why I said “spam” to highlight that he was throwing hadokens regardless of whether they were an intelligent choice or not.
It’s like fighting a masher using Christie in Tekken (hopefully you get the reference).

I don’t understand your point, what is wrong with letting immature players win?

If they’re not using their brains, then why can’t you beat them?

Nah, I think I understand you pretty clearly: Now with footnotes for anyone unaware of what’s wrong with this way of thinking.

  • Spamming fireballs is thoughtless and not considered to be zoning. [false & false]
  • Zoners shouldn’t throw fireballs unless careful intellectual input is involved. [false/scrubquote]
  • If players continue to spam, you’ll do the mature thing and let them win for free. [not mature]

Not sure why you’re talking about intelligent choices since you play Dan. [A smart choice would be to pick a better character.]

By quitting on them and/or by just playing like an idiot you’re the immature player here not them. If you can’t handle someone throwing fireballs and you throw a hissy fit whenever you run into someone doing so maybe fighting games just aren’t your thing.

rage quiting; the act of a person (normal a twelve year old), terminating [READ:BAWLLLLETING] their connection to the match because they are angry
[READ:SUCK]because they lost [READ: GOT F****** OWNED]

… well+damn= pwned hard

When did I say I couldn’t beat him?

You need to be intelligent to beat people with Dan.

If I couldn’t handle fireballs I’d play Dhalsim or Blanka. You’ve misunderstood me.
