The startup on the red beam is really, really slow, so, while the wind can push them towards you, the opponent will have tons of times to backstep before the astral even has any active hit frames.

Weird thing about her Astral is the timing for me. After a throw and they’re still on the ground, its really simple without trying. When both are just neutral and standing there, it’s just weird to get it out.
One more thing about Astral, she only become invincible after the red super flash.
when is the best time to hit the wind button (7+D) after throwing midscreen to hit the dash B into air combo? I got it a few times but not sure when the best time to press it is.
I grinded to level 4 with Rachel. On losses.
i tried one time online, didn’t like it really :\ too many just inputs in the game
i’d imagine rachel would be a pain to fight online though lol

Question about anti air. I’ve seen f+A is used for this, but can only cancel into a special or standing B with it. Do people use the A+B+C to cancel out of this to do the combo from ground to air or is there a different ground to air that can be used?
this is the first time i have ever played these kind of fighters, im a sf player, but i was thinking about maining rachel, and i would love it someone who is experienced that has this game for the xbox 360 would like to show me the ropes, because for the life of me, i cant get this game down :sad:

I played it (a little) before the console release and I still suck. Like 56% win rate…

Jesus Christ my Rachel is rusty as hell. Since my copy hasn’t arrived yet, my friend and I played on his copy of the game; I didn’t get any time to practice Rachel stuff I’ve been meaning to.
Anyone want to spar with me on PSN as well? I dont know how to play at all, but very interested in Rachel.
I should get the game asap and beat fuckton of people before they learn how to play the game.
