I don’t feel like she has any match ups to her advantage, being a 50/50 char. He worst match ups imo is anyone with a dp and/or a fireball, and sim, as they can shutdown her 50/50 given the right read, or just keep her out. I think other than that, it’s all even.

What’s your key to defeat Ken dude? His shimmy shitty + flashy moves make me lose almost all matches. Even Dhalsim doesn’t annoy me like that blonde bitch.

For Ken, or anyone with a dp, just try to bait it then go for the damage rather than the reset. Also, be patient on neutral… Try the slow approach to get in. Don’t do telegraphed jump-ins against the fireball.

how do you guys feel about the Guile matchup?

My initial impression is that its difficult, i know the same one touch= death applies here,
but him just holding down back negates a ton of our tools and hes got like 20 crush counters
to deal with our normals when we’re trying to pressure

Yeah, can’t throw the flash kick, so it still removes the mixup, and an ex can break anything.

Ok, anyone got anything on Guile ? This matchup is looking atrocious now.

It’s really difficult to closing in him and even when you do so, you still risk getting crush countered. I think the best approach is to be really cautious and patient, and be prepared to eat a lot of chip damage from blocked Sonic Booms. I have also noticed that the vast majority of Guiles I’ve fought so far, almost never seems to EX Flash Kick on their wake up as they fear you’re baiting them up for a CC punish.

It sounds like you cancelled cr.HP into super. Cr.HP is normally negative on hit unless you connect it meaty. No way to link into Super though you can link st.LP if you connect cr.HP on the last active frame.

super is 3 frame, cr lp is also3 frame… so if one work the other one also work.
but that not a viable option, just something you can show in a video…

the set up in the video for a meaty cr hp on the corner( lady mika, st.mp cr.hp) only work on a crouch opponent.
if opponent is standing the cr.hp will wiff.

cr hp is a really good way to put pressure, but you need to be able to recognise when you are positive on guard and where you are not.
it s a better option against character with no 3 frame normal.

I’ve being getting a hard time against Cammy. She is too fast and her good reversals make me not much offensive as I’m use to be. As much as possible, I try to punish her fucking Hooligan Combination with Mika’s s. mp, but isn’t working properly. What the hell need I do in order to stop that bitch?

man mika vs nash is so rough. its amazing how much easier of a time i have as laura vs nash.

I don’t know about Laura being much easier but i can agree that it is such an annoying matchup.
